Southwest Cue order wait is over

A 17 year wait for anything, even a new heart is absolutely ridiculous. Even if this cue will make you a better player, won't you try to find something else that could help your game sooner than 17 years. Anyone one of us could be dead in the next 17 years, no matter what age you are now.

It isn't like he's not hitting balls for 17 years, waiting. I don't think!

Yes and a growing number are all carbon fiber cues. I think the technology and market are changing.

Well I just got an email and after 17.5 years my wait is over to pick out my Southwest cue.
No clue what to order as far as woods and colors. I will be ordering every option available though.

This is correct a long time ago. We were told 2 cues a year for life but they stopped this deal years ago.

Laurie should cancel all back log and just build cues and auction them to the highest bidder. I'm with John C. It feels like the new SW cues get flipped for ridiculous prices.

Bobby - I thought the same thing and I got mine ordered a few months ago. I think it was 7-8 months ago and asked Laura if I could get to me by Christmas, and she said probably not. I think I heard 9-18 months after order is placed.

I thought like you before I started adding everything up. I intended on getting a total of 4 shafts but when my order approached $7K with 2 shafts, I settled on just the 2 shafts. I did get her joint protectors and the ebony and cocobolo woods with 3 veneers in the cue. Make sure you post pictures when you get it.

Going from this post being about 6 months ago i would say 2006-2008, anything past that i would say is very optimistic.

In January of 2020 they were closing out 2005 orders. Don’t know how Covid effected the timeline or where they are at this point
