Speed Check: Reyes Gomez 1p

Plays in and around nyc, wonderoing how good this young gun is at 1p.

It begs the question: who’s playing him?

From what I’ve seen, Reyito will gamble if he feels it’s an even match. He was set to play an action match against Jesus Atencio a couple months back, but backed out at the last minute. Most everyone believed Jesus was a strong favorite.

I’ll also add I don’t believe Gomez is anything close to a 1p specialist. He just likes to gamble.

I know a couple of really fine players in my neck of the woods
that have played him for some serious money.
Lots of woofing going on to make a game with him.
Matches have been on FB, mainly 10 ball.

On FB, you can watch him on Ambi's Action after Dark streams. On the streams you can see how he did against Frankie and Ralph Dabreo. My understanding, the kid likes to gamble.

something is being contemplated but *my* 1p skills are poor.

that young fellow is a real straight shooter - just trying to figure out how good a mover...

When your done knitting your sweater, will you be making a second one? Maybe a scarf? Or maybe you can play the man instead of asking the internet to knock him.

With a name like Reyes Gomez...he should have to give everybody 8-6.

aha, found one still living in 1964.

what size sweater you wear gb?

best,
brian kc <------ knows for certain that gb wouldn't just stand up and play for thousands without some good info on who his opponent is :yeah: :groucho:

Not all sweaters are nits.

Saw the "last pocket" 10b. Dennis won 8-1.

His backer must hate his money. Dennis probably purposely kept it close in the 8b match to get another game

looks like we may have action this afternoon approx 3pm est.

Should be able to watch on Yale Billiards stream.

Local CT young gun Lukas Verner vs Efren Gomez 1p

Is that the same Lukas that counts Jeremy Sossei as a mentor?
