5 rails in TN in the 80's. The bet was, he couldn't do it with a oversized Heavy Bar Ball.

Don't know if it was the same guy, but during tournaments at Beanie's Jack 'n' Jill in the early 70's, there was a guy who used to entertain the crowd between matches, making spot shots by spitting a cue ball.

This brings a new appreciation to a sign posted in a bar room tournament I played in during covid. " All tables and balls disinfected after every match"

It's a relatively standard trick/proposition shot. I think we've discussed it before.

Here's one such spit-baller...
Man I sure miss Washington Billiards.....
I was lucky enough to go there around the time he won his world championship.

Two dollars an hour to play on those antique tables.
One of them usually had a golf game going on to sweat.

Spitting the cue ball out of your mouth
I seen a guy once that he was a notorious road player out of the Austin tx area gambling spitting the ball out of his mouth. His name was Smoky Bartlett don’t know where he resides now

That is one skill I'll never know if I have. I just think that with my luck if I ever got a pool ball into my mouth it'd just get stuck.
