Spy Photo- Predator Testing

Do you support having a step available for shorter players? Mainly Filipinos.
No. The genetic lottery isn't an excuse for poor or good play. That's some 1943 Germany type shit. Genders don't even matter in pool, why would you think height made a difference?

Hell, I have height on Efren but I guarantee he could give me the Orange Crush and absolutely destroy me.

Why do you think it might be a good idea?

What would you want a pool shoe to do that some other kind of shoe does not already do ?
Imop basketball & skateboarding shoes are best for pool generally, enough cushion but flat sole for stability. Good grip on outsole.

Road flats if one finds the right pair are my favorite but most tend to have a narrow midfoot which reduces stability. Plus 1 for flexibility tho.

Converse are great too but they are foot killers. If they made them the same but a tad wider along through mid foot with say an air pack 1/2 length or just some of the nicer new high density foam materials. inside the shoe make the sole somewhat ergonomically correct that would be a great pool shoe. Sadly converse gives not one dam about the underside of one’s foot is shaped. Shoe shape you 😂

When I worked yachting in S. Florida Sperry Topsiders were mandatory equipment for every serious yachtsmen. For a reason, they worked wet or dry. So count me among those that consider footwear an important part of the game.

I've been wearing skate shoes for years but have never skateboarder. I just find them comfortable. I generally prefer DG or Airwalk.

Although I've been know to play a few games in my socks and no shoes but that's been in private homes.

Pool could use an official cue towel. A specific fabric for wooden cues, ld cues and carbon fiber.

There is a glove why not a cue care towel. The Predator Cue Wipe

Wow ! Never thought about that.
I have a pair of Florsheim boat shoes, same as the Topsiders.
I'm going to try them this Saturday, but I will have my normal pool shoes with me.

We had billiards shoes introduced already a few years ago. Moose's I think the name was. They were a sponsor at the Expo one year.

I could use a good pair of shoes to shot pool in.
I want them to be comfortable and feel like i’m playing in my sox.
If Predator makes them I’ll buy them as long as they downplay the logo.
A nice walking shoe works great for long standing times.

Clarks, Rockport and other such companies make very good ones. https://www.rockport.com/rockport/men’s-7100-prowalker-limited-edition-shoe/ML02712.html?dwvar_ML02712_color=TAN LEATHER&cgid=featured-mens-walking-shoes#start=1

Clark's Unstructured line is very good, I had a pair for many years and they were as comfortable as anything I have ever worn.

Shoes for pool are likely to need a bit more grip on the sole though so you don't slip while stretching for a shot.

I agree it makes sense to pay attention to shoes and have come to prefer skechers ultrago walking shoes. but any soft-grippy sole should do

NewBalance walking shoes are the nutz imo. Also wool socks. Waaay better than cotton.

I’ve tried them all. It’s brooks from here on out for me.

Different events promote different footwear.

Any tournaments that allow sneakers are for juniors.

Dress shoes are for camera table matches.

Comfy dress shoes for long tournaments with scheduling issues.
