Please forgive me for not responding sooner. Believe me if I had the time, I would have. So, in an effort to have this cooked and served before New Years, I will do my best to clarify any questions. Keep in mind that I am not a regular on this forum (and don’t intend on becoming one) so if I haven’t met your expectations with this post…too bad, it’s time to let go!
A few words to Kevin first –
After being told off for embellishing, do you really think it’s wise to speculate about my endorsements in an effort to build your case? You might be the only one who didn’t understand my meaning of “relationship.” Basically, your comments insinuate we’re better friends than we are...(your post: “Pm me with your real name & city, if you'd like, and I'll pass your thoughts on to her. I do all her cue work now.”) You’ve done minimal cue work for me, which I don’t deny, but I am disgusted by your exaggerations. What upsets me the most is your lack of discretion and disrespect toward your clientele. If you can’t see that, then you never will.
It would be easier for you to just admit that you’re attention-starved and lack self-control…(your post: “Sorry to hijack the thread to brag...you know I couldn't resist.”) I’m not aware of any other cue repairperson that blabs the way you do. A more accurate heading for you is “Good Work – Bad Character.” You’ve made hundreds, if not thousands exploiting the WPBA Players and should be ashamed of yourself for charging them, not to mention your aloofness toward it is offensive…(your post: “Anyone notice the Varney j/b sneaky on Allie's far right? And I don't pay her...in fact I have a copy of the check where she paid me…”) (Read closely “NYC cue dud” because your assessment needs some work.) For your information, the only cues pictured here are Allison’s Cuetec, the Scorpion, which she used for breaking, and the Action, which was used for jumping.
Lastly, your post: “In fact I should go so far as to stop all of my dealings with WPBA players...until you post an apology…” – is ridiculous and refusing to do cue work for WPBA Players based on our matter is immature. As for your threats, I would caution you against bringing other people into this – this is between you and me. You’ve already done enough damage.
Now just to clarify –
I'm not sponsored by Lambros Cues and have no reason to fear anything. I mentioned it because I love the way his cue plays and therefore would NEVER make that statement about Kevin’s cue. My response was prompted by Kevin’s inconsideration, and in my opinion, utter disrespect toward his clientele. It could have been anyone who chimed in who was agitated by his unprofessionalism. Unfortunately for him, it happened to be someone he talked about and I chose to hold him accountable. I also want to mention that I’m not questioning the quality of Kevin’s work. Those who have played with or own any of his cues know that they are good. Consumers all around the World buy products from companies with questionable business ethics, only because their opinion (value, quality, and/or convenience) of the product overrides the general way in which the business is conducted.
Most of you, myself included, can agree that my name or likeness will not make or break Kevin’s business. There is a bigger issue here regarding unprofessionalism and unethical practices. How long should Kevin be allowed to carryon, self-promoting, using the names and likeness of others with NO benefit to them? …(his post: “No free work here.”) Well Kevin, “No free endorsement either.” – Is this making any sense to you yet? He never asked permission or offered either party a product to sell for a fee and his tip is certainly not going up in value. Did I, and others, have prior knowledge of Kevin’s nature to blab? – Yes. Because of this, was Kevin asked to keep matters between him and his client private? – Yes. Kevin is the only on who has “bitten the hand that feeds him.”
As for Jeanette not responding the way I did…Presuming she was involved and offended too, my guess is that it would have been a certified letter mailed directly to Kevin by her attorney demanding compensation for his advertisement seeing as he never received permission to use her name or likeness. In my opinion, he is lucky it was JUST a post.
By the way, this matter cold have been handled more privately…but, -- still waiting for a call back. Either way, I have no regrets.
Sorry to those who lost their bets.

PS My especial thanks to X Breaker, BRKNRUN, Cornerman, buddha162 (you are Enlightened
) and DougT – your support and clarity is wonderful! I apologize if I left anyone out who expressed a better understanding of the situation – I could not possibly find the time to sit and read the thread through to it’s entirety.
PSS Work Kevin has done for me in the past:
Kevin put a Sniper tip on my Lambros shaft and tapered a Southwest shaft to match the Lambros. The following day, my playing shaft was delivered to Kevin second-hand to replace the Sniper tip I damaged. Kevin returned the finished product to me the next day. And on another occasion, I gave Kevin two shafts and asked that he reduce the size of one tip and replace the tip on my playing cue. Kevin’s done a lot of work for Allison and is evidently confused about what was mine.
