Read the start of this thread due to having thought I saw a start to a Kristi post before. I had only scanned the preview of that "Kristi Carter" thread and didn't feel like it was something I even wanted to waste the time to open; just having to do with meeting someone and how beautiful she was. Having read this first post I was compelled to go see what that Kristi Carter thread was about. Come to find out that it is 25 pages long filled with mainly garble. I just spent an hour and a half reading all of those posts and now the 3 pages of posts that generated in here so far. I now realize that I just wasted 1.5 hours of my life that I could have been practicing on my pool game or doing something productive. Amazing.

As near as I can figure it, there have been about a dozen prolific posters Banned in the past 3 or 4 months, with Jimbo being the most recent.
Out of respect and to show my sympathy for Jimbo's plight, I have decided to stop posting for awhile also.
Since I won't be posting, I think that this is an excellent opportunity to go on a 'fast' and not consume any type of food either. While I'm at it, I promise not to have so much as a sip of any type of booze/liquor.
I'm going to begin a regimen of walking round & round my block for some much needed exercise.
I will also stop all online poker gambling (something I do 8-10 hours a day).
This is my pledge and I intend to start right NOW.....

Just as that line announced the sequel to a wildly popular movie, I used it for the sequel to a wildly popular thread. But sequels are seldom as good as the original, and usually ought not to be made (Godfather II excepted).

The fact that it's a 2-way street is EXACTLY what SHE was saying. You're trying to turn it around on her, but it's actually she that is saying that it's a 2-way street. And that HE crossed the line (street). She says nothing about wanting free service. It's simply a "at what point did you think it was okay to use my name so freely in your advertising" post. It was not a "give me free service, and we can talk," post.

Also, it kinda sounds like to me that you are saying that Varney shouldnt charge you or any of the WPBA players for working on your cues (tips, etc) because you are pro players.

This is where you've got it all mangled. She is NOT saying that Varney shouldn't charge her or any of the WPBA players because they are pro players. She never said that. Never implied it. So, if you simply wipe that away from you memory banks, the rest of her posts can make more sense.

I stated that I understand why she was upset, but that she could have went about voicing her displeasure in a different more mature way. And then for her to say that she has no intentions of becoming a regular on AZ, sounds like she thinks she is above coming onto this forum unless she is displeased with a thread. A fair-weather fan so to speak. And just for the record, its not like Varney used Allison, Karen or Jeanette's name....I mean, what has Kristi won anyway???

As for not charging: I find it unprofessional to charge and THEN blast someone's name without consent. If you want to use their name, get permission, OR don't charge.

Thats the most obsurd hypocritical thing I think I might have ever heard. I won't take away form your initial well thought out first post on this thread because you are certainly entitled to your opinion but how arrogant are you, who are you anyway.

To ***** and moan like you did and then to say basically you can use my name if you don't charge takes nearly all credibility away from you. You were right by saying a lot of this could have been by PM or phone call but instead this makes you look no better than the one you are blasting.

But it does make for highly entertaining reading while I'm stuck at work.

My goodness. This is NOT what she said. You're making this into something that I can't even describe. It borders on blatant lies. She said she has other priorities in her life. How and why would you twist that into something negative??? She didn't say she was above anyone. She didn't say she didn't like being here. She specifically said she had other priorities. Why do you think this means anything? It has nothing to do with winning, status, or endorsements. It has everything to do with inappropriately using someone's name, and making false impressions. It could be anyone. If your name or my name was being used inappropriately by anyone on the internet, or in the small business world of pool (and I don't have to be limiting this to pool), you or I would have every right to make a public retort.

Exactly. I found it ironic and hilarious that she comes on here all high and mightly like some kind of celeb and then stoops right down to the level of the person she's so subjectionally bashing.

I look at it this way I don't think Varney is a bad dude I don't think he means any ill will or harm to anyone. He's a bold guy with a nice product trying find any and everyway possible to get his stuff recognized. There are a lot of things in this world we'd never have had people before us not been bold and unbashful.

For your information, the only cues pictured here are Allison’s Cuetec, the Scorpion, which she used for breaking, and the Action, which was used for jumping.

Thank you for clarifiying that, contrary to what Mr. Varney claimed, Ms. Allison Fisher was using an Action cue rather than a Varney Cue in the IPT.

That is because there is a considerable difference in having the ability to READ, and having READING COMPREHENSION...

It seems many of the posts I read on here (I'm not singling out anyone) illustrate, while all who post on here are able to read and (to a lesser extent) write, some do not comprehend the most pedestrian of the ideas and messages being conveyed.
