You can always tell who the internet loser is, the guy hurling insults from the keyboard.
PS pro1 bully? I'm not trying to get anyone to use it. I hope you don't in fact. You are one of the ones trying to force your opinion on people.

The ones who usually starting the insulting are cte user's, so replying back makes me a loser...lol
Being on a pool forum doesn't make you a pool player cookie.
People like you and belva shouldnt even talk about anything pool related...not even chalk. There's know limit to your stupidness.
BTW .. Whats your address,I'll send you a camera so you can post a video thats cte related.
My evening stalker. Bad day at work?
No, just replying back to you.:rolleyes
I'm really feeling that stupidity is a talent, cause some of you are really good at it.
Until you can post a video cookie and belva I'll leave you be.

I just thought I'd point out some things. When stan says visual intelligence he's talking about our ability to read the angle. If our visual intelligence is good then we should know exactly where to hit the object ball.
Problem is it's hard to hit angles close to 15 degrees because it's between the edge and center ball. It's hard to hit angles close to 60 degrees because it's far from the edge and there's no reference of aim. This is where initial alignment is useful. Start at a known angle and pivot TIL IT LOOKS RIGHT according to your visual intelligence.
Some people use their shaft has a reference instead of pivoting (SVB). Some people use touch of inside. Some people use rifle aiming.
In the end we are all shooting the SAME shot. How we get there is our own preference. Now I capitalized TIL IT LOOKS RIGHT because sometimes our initial visuals could be wrong. Sometimes it's just hard to judge an angle (back cuts).
All in all I say keep an open mind and just take whatever is useful for you and discard whatever you don't want to keep. But keep in mind that you might be surprised of the aiming concepts you discarded ended up opening your eyes.
Nice !!!
Thank you.
Why this was so tough to answer ?
Stan banned himself from discussion because, IMO, he realized he was digging himself in deeper. Anyway, if he were still here he'd have b*itch slapped you real hard over the post above. He does not take kindly to people "mischaracterizing" his baby. He has this notion that the 15 and 30 degree visuals with sweeps are all you need to make most shots, with NO fudging of the angles required. It is what separates his (Hal's) system from all the others, and therefore what makes it the best system. The problem is this thinking is a fantasy and has not been backed up in any way for 20 years. Now we are waiting on a huge book that will explain everything. But don't hold your breath on a release date.
Because they are not confident in their beliefs, despite the bluster.
Your lucky being stupid isn't illegal.
Don't care who uses it.
Watch the MC, that's how you approach potting balls.
Cameras are cheap, not hard to get a video of your playing or your curtain skills up on YouTube...anything that proves your more then a pro1 bully.
Won't happen , you're a chicken sh!t.

Again sorry.

Of course I can. But, the real question is why, when you claim to know so much about CTE, and it's failings, why you would not know that answer yourself? And, why you think it has any bearing at all on pivoting?
You see, what you fail to understand, is that after one pivots in CTE, the cue is now 90 degrees to the cb, and is lined up straight down the actual shot line.
Neil, did you watch Stan's recent videos about the pocket ?
I think he says that after the pivot he is NOT ON THE ACTUAL SHOT LINE. He is lined up for a part of the pocket and after shooting he "throws" the object ball at center pocket.
Maybe I am wrong or stupid, but that's my level of understanding.
I think you say that the pivot gets you to the center pocket line (this means ghost ball). You have a video on Ron's pivot where you say exactly the same thing. You are talking about the ghost ball. And for me, when you say ghost ball you mean center pocket (again, that's how I get it...).
So, are you 100% sure you know much about the system and how the pivot works ?
Shot line that CTE gives you takes you to a slight overcut because the collision indused throw between two balls colliding slightly thickens the shot. That combination takes the OB to center pocket, he doesn't talk about deflection created by using english/side because he isn't using it, he hits center CB with his tip.
Edit: Here look at this video, collision induced throw is called cut induced throw here, but it is the same thing - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jUL_8aZ2LU
Mirza,
The way you describe it, it is impossible to play the same way at any speed.
You are an educated and intelligent guy.
But, if SIT (and not CIT) comes into play then this would make things more clear. Because the different swerve (caused by a very little amount f spin) at different speeds, could work with the different rotational speed of your cue ball to give you the same throw effect and make the shot.
Keep on with your thinking. You aren't open to changing it anyways, and it seems to make you happy. Of course, it doesn't come close to making you right, but what the heck, right?
You have it so stuck in your head that any pivot applies english, that no matter who tells you that isn't correct, it just doesn't register in your head.
Ok.
Do you think I am 100% WRONG when I say that if your cue ball is moving "dead straight" with zero spin, using the same visual alignment, CIT will not work to center pocket your shot at any speed ?
I think you are wrong.
You can answer without calling me a troll or other names.
