i believe this to be a very old brunswick, when i found it, it was in very bad shape. the pin was in the shaft.
it now weights 19.6 oz and has a old brunswick shaft with a 12.9 mm moori. the end of the shaft has butterfly splice in hardwood appx 9 1/2 inches down the shaft.
the points are very near even and very sharp on both ends.
elk butt cap, joint and ferrule.
the label is about 75%, worn but readable.
$465.00 delivered.
thanks for the interest in my cues chuck
the cue has sold. thanks to everyone. chuck

This cue is in need of a bump. Chuck's cues play great, this is some very old wood. Nice work Chuck keep it up. That shaft looks familiar?

Chuck i really like this cue! Awesome conversion. If i had the money i would own this.

Very nice looking cue. Did you do the butterfly splice in the shaft or was it that way before?

original shaft

the butterfly splice in the shaft was made by brunswick. they used that style shaft in a lot of there early cues.

I guess I have another old school looking cue.

SWEET!

It will go with my other butterfly.

This beautiful conversion of an old Brunswick (204?) has been donated by Chuck to the Illinois Billiards Club where it will be put on display with an appropriate placard. Once it finds its new home, pictures will be provided.

Big thanks to Chuck Starkey.:thumbup2:
