Steve Klapp Custom Cues

I had the pleasure of meeting Steve Klapp today .
He had a few of his cues with him and i was very impressed .
I even bought one I may have bought two but a friend of mine
beat me to the other one .

Steve and I played pool and talked for hours . He is a very down to earth
and easy to talk to kinda guy . His cue's really got my attention I had the chance
to play with to of his cues and I gotta tell ya they play very well .

Here are some pictures I took of my cue and a friends cue .
Mine is the dark wrapless cue .

Steve is my friend and he built a cue for me. These are beautiful cues. I know Steve will be happy you posted up.
 
Congrats to ya Larry. Thats some serious butterfly work there.

I saw those cues in person a couple of weeks ago. The forearm points are actually V-Groove points that are made up of butterlies. It is hard to tell that from the posted pictures. They look even better in person.
 
Larry has a good eye and smartly snatched up a unique and beautiful cue.

I also got to bang some balls around with Steve over the weekend. He's a fun guy.

BTW, you should see how the light dances off those butterflies on the lighter cue. When you roll it in your hands, the grain of the butterflies just shimmer.

Steve: get back in the shop and get that full-splice jig prefected.

Nice posting I_P. They are both really nice butterfly cues. I'm loving the brown one! Nice pick up and rep to you for taking the time to help advertise for a cuemaker.
