CTE is not difficult....it's simply odd and different at first. Perhaps the effort that any serious player must endure for proper development can be described as not easy. Myself, I literally can not wait to hit balls every single day. A hallmark of CTE is that it continually becomes easier and easier and the avenues for across the board learning are greatly expanded.

Contrary to what you might think, I have a very good stroke. Shooting stop shots is not an issue for me.

I have no thoughts one way or another about your stroke because I've never seen you play.

But you could demonstrate what you're talking about by doing a video with a bunch of straight in's and cut shots with the trainer that total 50 shots and we'll check it out.

I don't use CTE. I have said multiple times for someone who uses CTE to make a video to see if they are steering or not. Why do you always turn everything around?

My main interest with CTE revolved around the fact that I wanted to increase my percentages on shots I have trouble with. CTE did not help me personally with those shots so I gave up. It seemed to increase my percentages a bit on some shots that I did not have much trouble with before. I found it took me out of rhythm to use it for some shots but not for others.

I asked several questions in this forum and never got any serious answers. Everybody gets defensive and thinks you are knocking the system blah blah blah. This leads to personal attacks etc and the thread goes off the deep end.

I used to be very happy in sharing everything that I knew about CTE on this site. I am an educator of 30 plus years and there were available interventions for those that disrupted my classroom lessons. There can be no doubt that purposeful disruptions existed when I once upon a time really tried to share here. The disruptors win on that front because I will not share here when I feel that I am being disrespected. Perhaps the atmosphere will change here some day. In the meantime there are other ways that I can share my work without attacks.

It's always been that way here. I answered all of mohrt's questions, yet he won't answer mine. On the other hand there is no shortage of people here trying to stir things up. One CTE guy here actually slandered a respected member of the billiards community with unproven hearsay and was wrist slapped.

I don't know what you mean, I've responded to all your posts. Did I miss something? I answer pretty much the same things the same answers over the last few years.

Only one comment I have to make to your uneducated delusional babble is, if somebody had a gun to my head while in the voting booth saying to vote for Hillary or die, I'd be dead. No vote for any DEMS, EVER!! You're just clueless all the way around, aren't you.

Bustamante is not dead straight on the final stroke. He swerves the cue ball. Efren Reyes does the same thing.

Trust is a funny word. Is the cue ball still spinning when it stops? I have never even heard of such a thing and have seen both of them play a fair amount in person.

Video proof of this will be needed. Maybe Dr Dave can have a contest to see who can produce the most swerve resulting in a stop shot.

Yes it does. We are not talking about something like a masse shot. It's not so obvious. He knows how to hit the cue ball from the left or the right side in order to "slap" the object ball from the right or the left side. He never hits the balls in the face or in straight lines. And it is not the same hit for every stroke speed. This method is very "speed sensitive".

It's hard to believe it, I know.

It's just a way of playing the game. And pool can be played in many ways.

Cookie, I payed on a 10'er at home (havre de grace) till i moved to Fells Point around may/june. Havent played much since then. Table is in storage.

Stopped @ new Green Room to have a tip put on - that's where I gambled with the guy.
