Is the image messed up in the post or are the inlays really that messy? Looks like someone was practicing inlaying cues.

Design looks like someone tried to copy Schon aside from the joint and rings.

I've hit with a cue like that in the mid 80s....can't remember who made it...

...but it played well...and it was American made.

I think Chopdoc will nail it.

I'll say Viking custom until somebody says otherwise.

They did inlays just like that, rings just like that, and bumper like that.

The pin? I dunno...does not look Viking though....


Very cool cue.


Any labels or anything on the case? Is it leather or vinyl? I collect that style case.

Bert wasn't "messy" nor copied... He was a unique great maker that made cues as well as most.

He's a member of the International Cuemakers Hall Of Fame....
