STICKLAND vs WILEY- Million Dollar Challenge Semi Final Match NOW at www.cjwiley.com

that's really not a bad idea.
and Fatboy might actually invest!

Actually, if Fatboy were looking for something to sink his teeth into, this might be it, and really fun too. Depending on how it's handled, this could be the 21st century Hustler/COM kickstarter.

a desire to get involved on the "business end"

FatBoy {or anyone that sees the potential} wants to get involved as a partner, it's not too late and we're making it very affordable and the upside (if this goes mainstream especially) is incredible. Once we start back the door of opportunity will close, so that's the end of this week. We will see who's on the team and move forward over the weekend.

In case someone has a desire to get involved on the "business end" I can be reached for details at thegameistheteacher@gmail.com - This is definately a one time {and very limited time} offer.

My intuition tells me that the world of pool is going to dramatically change for the better in the next 12 months, I hope everyone wants this as much as Earl and I do.

Thanks, Luxery, I'm sure you'll learn a "touch" of great things from Paul.

Post the Paul P vid soon. I have a lesson with him soon.

Paul's a great player and accomplished teacher.

Unfortunately, over the years, I've misplace the video with Paul. If he has it or anyone else I'd like to ad it to my collection and would be willing to "work something out" on compensation.

Thanks, Luxery, I'm sure you'll learn a "touch" of great things from Paul. ;)

The "treat everyone the same" scenario is proven not to work

ERIC - see post #43 from CJ....

The more involved I get in the pool world again the more I can plainly see that Earl Strickland has always been "the chosen one". This has been overlooked and he has actually been ridiculed by some of the most vocal people.

I know this may sound far out, but looking back if the right marketing people had been involved with pool they would have used Earl to do what they did for Golf with Tiger Woods. Tiger's not a Saint, by any stretch, but they taught him to have an impeccable social mask.

Mark my words, Earl Strickland is going to create a HUGE opportunity in the pool world, this time, let's acknowledge his calling. Earl has his faults, and that's what makes him more entertaining, it's just essential when he's in the spotlight to give him the preferential treatment that other players are getting now....no more, no less......the fact of the matter is, the special players MUST be treated special with the utmost respect and dignity. This may be a hard pill for some to swallow, but maybe they can muscle up and "take one for the team". :groucho:

The "treat everyone the same" scenario is proven not to work (it just looks good on paper, but it's not practical from a business standpoint) well for the good of everyone.....if this doesn't make sense, please put it up on the shelf, it will make sense soon enough. 'The Game Will be the Teacher'

ok, i'm picturing some young stud & a well-known actor. i don't know who. but he's got to be cocky. let's just say Matthew McConaughey....

and Earl gets to do a cameo. he might even play him @ one scene.

can you imagine EARL, having to play, his YOUNGER SELF????

(and Earl could double-dip @ all stunt doubles!)

Matthew is a great choice.....here's another one

This is from the same tournament earl won the million at? I think I do have a video of CJ vs Paul but I don't remember offhand which it was. I may have sent it to you already.

Looking forward to watching it later this afternoon when I get my chores done.

Years ago when cable was in its infancy and there was no such thing as personal satellite dishes, we didn't get much in the way of televised pool where I live in Canada.

So, I'm playing pool one afternoon and this re televised match comes on the tv close to my table. I quit playing, sat down and was glued to the tv.

That pretty much made me a fan of Earls from that time forward.

Earl was always the "chosen one"....he was just put in the most challenging sport in America to perform, endure, and develop. I have reason to believe it will all be worth it for him in the near future and he will help positively change the face of pool forever.

This is just my opinion, and like Dennis Miller says "I could be wrong". ;)

I Jimmy Mataya - Great Pool Commentator, or the Greatest Pool Commentator?

What a match. The best commentary.Jimmy Mataya: "If I were CJ I would ask Earl, 'How is your mom?' I would throw a tomato at him if I had to."
