That was going to be my first choice actually, but he seemed too happy.
Speaking of going off the rails, I wonder if barry will become the next danny harriman. I never saw a guy try to promote and badmouth his pet project in the same breath. It's borderline insane.

Here is where your confused...Bonus Ball is my pet. The WPBL is completely Larry's train wreck. They are not one and the same. Bonus Ball is simply a new pool game. The WPBL could have easily been KT and Eight Ball. Completely seperate businesses!
I am just responding honestly to questions asked. Fatboy asked me legitimate questions and Dan Lewis (Dan please forward me my one week's notice, I got six month's ago or dont speak anymore!) was fed bullcrap from Nathan and Dave, so I corrected him. Bonus Ball, the game, has nothing to do with how Larry Chiborak conducts business. Eric knows I don't really need money from Larry or anyone else but I do care to clear my name about this WPBL train wreck. I now know who Dan really is and Im sure Nathan, Dave and Dan believe the slick looking guy in the suit and yellow sports car. He's quite the salesman but a horrible businessman. Dumb is truely the best way to describe how he has handled the WPBL and everything else.
You want answers, I have always given them. You may not like what I say but I give you the low down. The players are going to get hurt the most if they don't get their money up front. If Chiborak can sell more shares, great! I just won't stand by and say to players that he has a millions of bucks because I don't know. If he did, this whole mess would not have even happened. Anyone with half a brain should be able to figure this out. I had worked extremely hard to get Larry to issue a check to Mark Griffen for the tables he helped him with and that is after Mark kindly cut the bill in half! To say the least, I was furious and that was the day I decided, there can't be millions here. Thanks Mark for being so good about this.
I love pool, play all games and I dress in casual clothes and I love my Ford F-150. I love the way I have developed Bonus Ball and I love teaching amateurs how to play the game. If anyone is in the pool business to get rich, back away now! LOL

Obviously Larry did not! I loved everything you said the first day we met at the studio. I asked you about helping us out but you said you had too much on your plate. I wish it was you that was the president of the WPBL. It would have been a fun deal. Teaching the amateurs was always my joy and that will simply continue on.
Eric, can you please pass me some of the popcorn too! This will be quite the show! Now they are bragging about getting free tables from China. What a slap in the face to America! What about Diamond, I know they offered him a sweet deal. It just get's crazier everyday!

While I agree more games won't save the sport, one standard won't either.

What's so wrong with inventing new pool games? Some people just want to try some new stuff for fun. I don't think new games can promote the sport that much if variants like 8ball weren't enough for it, but I don't see why existing players shouldn't develop more good variants of the game
Be realistic.
If the WPBL is not 100% bonus ball, what other games does it promote? Zero.
Has it held tournaments in other games, or built arenas, or formed teams for other games?
How long has it been around... longer than bonus ball? Don't think so.
What other major businesses are associated with bonus ball? None.
How many bonus ball leagues and organizations are there, besides the WPBL? Exactly zero?
What other websites sell tickets, jerseys, or bonus ball sets? None.
You might as well tell me that the WNBA and women's professional basketball are completely separate and unrelated things.
You might not like that, but right now the WPBL = Bonus ball.
The success of failure of this giant financial venture will directly affect whether the game gets popular,
or whether it goes the way of Canasta. They are NOT separate in anyone's mind except yours.
So please believe me, when you take a dump on the WPBL, you are shitting on your pet!
It's far too late now but you should have just kept your disagreements and problems private.
That would give bonus ball its BEST chance to succeed.
