Definitely not his first 14.1 tourny. He played in the 1993 U.S. Open for sure and I'm pretty sure he played in another at the same time period of the 1993 event.

Yeah, I thought that he had played in a 14.1 tourney before this one. I was just
going by what Grady and DiLiberto said.

Thanks for posting that. Hard as it is to believe that was 16 years ago. I saw that match because I was covering it for "All About Pool". Grady put on several tournaments up in Portland. They were always great.
