Straight Pool instruction by Max Eberle

I just watched a few minutes of it and I will definitely come back to it when I have more time. Max talks his way through racks of straight pool. From what I have seen so far, I would compare it to Jim Rempe's video on how to run 100 balls. It's definitely a must see. :thumbup:

Dennis, Thanks for posting & Thanks to Max's for taking the time to make this video available for players of all levels to watch. Well, I can tell you from first hand experience that making a video like this is far from being easy. It is always good to look into an established player's mind and see what they are thinking as they move from one shot to another. A really good way to learn. Enjoyed watching. Again Thanks.
 
Wow....That was a great peice that Max put together.

I was really impressed by that. this was right up there with Jim Rempe's video on how to run a rack and how to run 100s.

Looks like Max put together a nice site there. I'll have to sign up and see what other great stuff he shares with us.

Thanks to Max for making this available, and to Dennis for posting it. I think this "thinking out loud" method of instruction is really great. It lets you gauge your own thinking against how it should be done.

Agree 100%. Watching AND listening (actually listening first!) is quite helpful. I also liked how when Max missed a ball, he went ahead and rolled it in the pocket and continued the pattern so we could see his strategy. Well done!

Max Eberle is a fine player and a fine man. Nice job on this video for sure.
 
Very nice instruction-
Just shows, what Jim Rempe also *preaches* in his videos. The game is all about knowledge and overthinking what happened and happens :-)

Nope, 2 upstairs computers running win 7 and the downstairs comp on win xp and all I get is 404. My computers hate me, well, I hate them in return.
