I just received a new Sugartree from Eric Crisp today.....The cue is 8 bem points into Brazilian rosewood. The cue has Erics trademark 3/8x10 pin and ringwork at every position, the cue sports an awsome brown textured leather wrap, and the cue also has buckhorn joint and buttcap. Thanks Eric!!!

I don't think the buttcap is a buckhorn.
It's some other bone I think he wants to keep private. :)
Still a 4-legged animal, I think.
 
I think the buttcap and joint are Caribou. I'm surprised he didn't put Superpro tips on it.

I have had no time. As a few know, my wife is active duty military & has been gone for a while, just coming back recently. This left me as mr. mom for a while, so cue work became nearly non-existent. This cue has been completed for some time, when I was still using Sumo as my standard tip. It has quite a history behind it, though it has never left my possession. The wrap was the trick, never exactly being what I wanted. This is the sixth wrap on a brand new cue, which is now a year old. The original owner never touched the cue, but decided to upgrade in design & go for something more intricate, and wrapless. Now it has a home, one that will hopefully be a happy one.

Dale that's one the nicest sugartrees I have seen. Congrats and enjoy it.
Looks like you got yourself a nice collection of cues going.
 
Well I finally took the tree out for a few hours, and all I have to say is WOW!!! The cue plays incredible thats for sure, and by the way.... the cue is not for sale.....sorry guys...Thanks again Eric!!!!

I can only imagine that the cue plays rather well. You seem to keep getting more and more cool cues these days. Keep it up man.
