I'm sure I'll get in trouble for that one

Eric used to sign earlier cues under the bumper. Before 2007.

Eric has used g-10 pins as well. I've owned a few.

I'd say NOT a Sugartree. If it is, its old.

But I once owned an ST signed under the bumper like this. But it was a sneaky. Pic attached. Note that when he hand signed these, 'Sugartree' was one word, unlike in the pic of the mystery cue.

- B <-------- presently plays with an ST with a G-10 pin.

Purely based on the pictures with the rubber bumpers removed, I'm going to "guess" that it is a genuine Sugartree. To me the construction under the bumper on all 3 cues in this thread looks very close. I've never seen a ST in person, and this is just my opinion;)

I agree with you regarding the construction, including the threaded bumper.

the "sugar tree" signature is a bit of a red flag though.

and despite this ebay sellers 100% feedback rating, his cues do look a little suspicious.

Would you consider selling it?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry :sorry: already sold to a Denver Bronco fan that loves Sugartree / Eliminator conversions.
Try to find one of those guys hanging around the pool hall..

Nice cue, came with j/p's and a matching plastic tube.
That was a cool $27 profit, which is the most I've made on a cue deal to date.

Way to go, my wife just said to me buy me that cool looking Bronco cue from Uncle Ted. I said that you already sold it for a $27 profit & she is pi$$ed off mad. She said you knew she was a big Bronco fan from the Elway era back in the good old days. She also said you are now on her $hit list as well. I told her that list is already long enough & 1 more person won`t make a difference to you. Just so you know, I`m still a BIG Uncle Ted fan. Have a great holiday weekend buddy.

Personally I like the chances that it is an older Sugartree.
Until we here differently, I'm going with the sig in the butt cap, because
I have to believe that very few people could be that devious.

Well that's a good result at least, maybe not as good as a sugartree for half price, but nice that you were able to not lose out on anything.

sugartree cue

Still advertising the cue as a sugartree cue WOW

I feel fortunate now that i got my money back.

I know other azers were going to notify ebay on this sellers activity involving questionable cues for sale but i guess ebay doesnt care.

Is this the same seller that just sold a phony Balabushka for $5K pretty much the same way (stating he's not sure who the maker is...)? Or was that the Scruggs seller? Or are they all this guy?

Glad to see you got your money back. Hopefully other azers will see this thread & think twice about buying it. Thanks for the heads up.

He has another cue up for sale that is a plain jane and has the same style rings. How does he have 100% feedback still selling counterfeit goods?

Yeah he's selling the Sugarbush cue again, says "it's marked Sugartree but is rumored not to be real".

Anybody that uses a leopard print blanket as a background for his cue pictures cannot be trusted in my opinion. That's just WRONG!!!
