Sugartree cue real or fake??????????

Still advertising the cue as a sugartree cue WOW

I feel fortunate now that i got my money back.

I know other azers were going to notify ebay on this sellers activity involving questionable cues for sale but i guess ebay doesnt care.

So, you said the cue had great construction, and playability, and it at least looks like a sugartree, and you only paid $500 for it, right? WOW, tough customer, lol. The titlist was SWEET, and i think the seller has some cool old school cues sometimes....

Sugartree cue update

Received a full refund from the ebay seller i got the cue from.

Remember the cue guys it may pop up again

Great that you got your money back.
I've had to send Ebay cues back due to quality issues when the seller knew
the issues, but faking a Sugartree sig really takes some balls.
It's hard to give him a negative since he refunded the money.

I guess I rode the wrong horse on this deal...:embarrassed2:

Ohh i see he refunded the cash........and is selling again so people still see the " suger tree 06 ", ..............he is a scumbag.........OTB

The same seller had a TS sneaky listed that did not look real to me either.

I think it sold for about $200.00

If that cue is cored down the nose, it's probably not ST cue. Eric used to be non-core guy in the beginning.

Also, if you are familiar with his old taper, it helps. It was very short and got fat in a hurry. Many peopel who were used to longer pro taper could not adjust to Eric's old taper ... later on, he changed his shaft taper as well.

G10 - he would use if the nose was very heavy.

Ferrule, he was using primarily LBM and Super Pro tips.

That is not my cue. I have never used canvas phenolic dashes in rings, nor used lacewood in a forearm/butt plain jane. Only a few cues have had g-10 joint pins & this cue is not one of them. This cue is a fraud.

I apologize if I have been out of touch & hard to contact. I'm posting a thread in the main forum to explain.

looks like he modified his description of the cue
sincere or bs???????????

Cue has been proved NOT to be a sugartree cue, and now has no makers mark on it. I believed the cue to be real, so please accept my apologies. I do believe still that the cue is a custom, of high quality, and worth twice my start price in build quality, and playability alone. I think i counted 42 rings, that had to take considerable time, not counting the rest of it. Plus, it does have a sugartree look to it at least.

Suggests the seller might be a member here.
