Suggestion to Accu-Stats

I realize that it's probably too late to do it this year, but for future tournaments...

You should add an option of buying individual matches.

I'm not interested in spending $10 (day) or $6 (session) due to

A. I might not care to see all of the matches
B. I might want to see all of the matches, but don't have time in my schedule

However, if I see a match on the upcoming schedule that I do want to watch, then I would gladly pay $2-$3 to do so.

Probably would over complicate things for Accu-stats, they offered the early bird special for $50, can't beat that!

I really think there is money to be made here, and Pat would take notice.

This is the first year in a while that the field is so full of monsters. If this were to become the norm, Pat would be wise to incorporate your suggestions.

Even if it is just a standard fixed camera on each table, and you could buy in for that match, there would be a profit.

I'm sure more than a hundred viewers would have gladly tossed down $3 when they saw Karen and Big Ko tied at 3. I know I would have for sure.

Even look at right now, with Mike Dechaine in a dog fight and Corey Duel leading Little Ko, I would pay for those two tables right now, being I just got home from my son's soccer practice. So Pat would make $6 on not even two full streams of action.

This is a good thread because many ideas and fresh takes on streaming options can be created when logical discussion takes place.

Thanks. It sounds like you're suggesting that there be multiple TV tables, and while that would be most ideal, I don't know if it's something Pat can handle. I think he's touched on the subject before.

I would still be okay with the 6 matches per day on one table, just with the option of buying individual matches if the viewer wishes to do so.

Yeah, that would be cool too.

I see your point.

An added benefit would be the feedback of knowing which players have the greatest drawing power. This could aid in the decision making process as to which players should be on the TV tables going forward.

I think flexibility is usually a good thing as well.

I know this is just a fantasy land suggestion but...

what about an NFL redzone ticket pass deal, when all tables are wired up for video, and the analysts virtually jump around when there is action at each table. Like Corey duel closing out Little Ko, then jump Dechaine in the middle of a three pack, etc.

Welcome to 21st century, high intensity sports network pool viewing

If it is not about the money, why not just pay the 50 bucks and watch whatever you can according to your schedule?

Since Accu-Stats offers daily passes and even single sessions, I think this is enough. Most people are not willing to pay for watching pool. They rather hang out in the chat all day looking for action...

It's not about the money in the sense that I would shell out $50 if my schedule allowed me to watch every match, or I cared to watch every match.

However, since neither of those is true, then spending that $50 becomes a waste. Then I do care about the money.

I like the idea....if they did the stream like Quatar World 9 ball where u had choice of all the tables depending on who you like that would be sweet.

Offer $5.00 for say 6pm matches only. And have still camera on all tables except tv table which has multiple angles.

Geees US is such a rip off when it comes to streams...I see (free) streams from foreign countries that offer better bitrate and quality streams then ppv from USA ..just sayin..

But yea for people who dont have time this would be a better option!!!

Lot of good matches for only $50, better than picking a few at $10 per match.

You can probably spend $50 on chalk if its not about the money.

No one ever suggested paying $10 per match.

$3 maxx :) would be acceptable and I'm sure others wouldn't have a problem with it either.

What I don't think you are getting is that $50 is a great deal.

IF you have time AND are interested in watching all of those matches.

if it was 5$ for the whole week would you buy it? If you answer is yes, then its about the money.

Have you tried looking it at from this perspective? A movie ticket is $14 for a single movie. Pricing as entertainment Accu-stats is only charging you $10 a day to see your preferred matchup, and all the others shown for that day are included for free whether you care to watch or not.

It is called Pay Per View (PPV) so by definition there should be choice to watch any match
Of cos key issue is they are not able to capture all matches on camera . One camera is wholly very insufficient . 1 camera may be enough for invitational but not for a 128 tourney
Kozoom does it best when it comes to streaming bug tourneys. Even though they stream W9B for free, I would pay $50 to $100 to be able to watch any or all matches on any table . And best part is they allow it to be uploaded on YouTube later :D
