I am so glad Many agree with me as I do not have to explain myself in detail. Thank you AZer's for the support. As for the few that don't understand they will just never get it. Just to add a touch - this SBE is Huge and has to do will all Forums as well as so much more for pool. Its not to be taken lightly and is very serious. Banks

this is your second thread posted here on wanted / for sale griping about super billiards expo's new location.

it was explained to you that it belongs in the main forum but defiantly, you added this new thread on the same topic.

do you not give a crap for your fellow az members whose items for sale here keep getting knocked down and off the page so you can have your rant?

Just read the responces to my thread and you will see others agree with me. This is a very important event in this industry. You want to through this to the side like its no big deal. Dont you understand if this event was to prosper and improve it would make your sales easier on this forum. But that is just a small part of it The picture is so much bigger then that. Banks

you are violating the az forum rules - there is nothing for sale in either of your threads.

do you understand that this type of post is what the main forum is for?

So here we have it, your important message as I see it is you are unhappy with the location of next years SBE and you feel this second thread in the wrong area will make Alan move it's location to your liking....As I see it, Alan will hold it where he wants and will not be able to please everyone reguardless where it is held. If we have a VOTE in the matter I vote Chattanooga, Tennessee and I can walk there! We have a big convention center here with plenty of parking...However the only vote we have is to go or not to go and if no one goes he won't hold it there again. As you can see by this thread in the wrong area for the second time people came to both threads and they will be at SBE next year wherever it is held! Alan if you are reading this crap please consider my vote for your next show! Thanks, Ron<----Just lowered his Justis full gator 2x4 for sale, 1 spot...WTF?

I am friends with Alan on FB so I posted there and asked him to hold it here in Chattanooga and told him Joe was unhappy with his current location choice! Sorry guy's but I think SBE will now be Southern Billiards Expo now! You all come on down ya hear!

I happen to live close to the Expo. However, here is a typical example- Many Gusts that arrive at the SBE traveled many miles and many hours. Either taken a plane or drove for a whole day or more. When they arrive they are tired from traveling. OK everybody knows this, but this is what the situation is. There are no Hotel rooms at the convention center. There are no restaurants at the convention center. Futhermore, during the show If one person in the party wants to take a nap or take a break it becomes a problem because they traveled as a group. How do you share one car when the hotels are 5 miles , 7 miles , 10 miles away. Besides who want to travel back and forth back and forth. the next point I will keep very brief. Don't you want to have some comforts after traveling very far and spending a lot of money. Such as having a swimming pool or a room to have a few beers with your buddies. OH Don't let me forget, wanting to walk on a carpeting is asking to much. Banks---
 
First and foremost, thank you to the Hopkins family and business that make the SBE possible.

Joe Banks is making the wrong statement/asking the wrong questions.

Yes the old SBE was nice and yes I miss it. So since I don't go to many conventions, which venue would replicate the expo as we knew it at the Scanticon. Once we figure that out, then Hopkins can figure out logistics and profitability of any venue changes.

But to your statement .....I think there are always a taxi around to drive you .......i know it might cost more this way but that is the price the person has to make that will want to go back to there room by them selfs ....JMO

Josh,

The wrap isn't original, plus it has a bad wobble! His tips are terrible, too. I would go to the North East for an original Super Billiard Expo, rather then deal with Mr. Banks.

It is too late now, the Justis Full Gator 2x4 I am tryin to sell is WAYYYY back there and nothing seems to be selling! It is far more important that everyone knows Joe Banks is unhappy with Allens choice for the next SBE and let everyone know that he refuses to post his rant in the proper area!
Seems his iTrader is 2 and I for one won't make it 3...For Joe to start another thread in the same area after the Mods moved it shows how smart he is and he couldn't care less if he pushes our stuff for sale to page 10! You go Joe.....
 
This discussion was started on 11/10/12. It has since had 7 replies yesterday and 6 today, mine makes 7 today. Quit responding and let it fall back into nowhere land. Just my .02
 
Actually the first thread started on the 9th with 41 posts about the same thing, it was moved by the mods so this unhappy fellow started another the following day with only 8 posts! Seems they would BAN Joe because he don't play fair and go by the rules or he owns this forum and makes his own rules? This unhappy guy will more than likely start another thread in the same area about the same thing until Allen moves the SBE to Chattanooga....Allen please work with us on this so we can sell our Cues and Cases at a big loss due to this President and the Economy!
