I was looking at the site, the general admission is now 15 bucks, does anyone think that is a little pricey?

Anyone not going because of the admission price went up?

Of course the Pro Event is a seperate charge per session.

Lets see each vendor has to kick up 1100 for the booth, X amount for travel and food, then X amount for the room, then X amount for the rental of the tables that you guys love to "try before you buy" cues on which as we all know barely ever relates to an actual sale.

$15.00 ? Yeah that seems fair lol should be a hell of a lot more than that.

Always been 10 bucks to get in.

Don't forge the vendors pay a lot for a booth.

Maybe a vendor can chime in how much.

It says it right on the vendor contract which you can download from the exhibitor section of Allen's expo site. Not to mention the 175 extra just for the use of electricity. And in all seriousness god help if you want internet lol.

Everything has gone up in price recently... if it's been ten bucks for years and is now 15 then I dont see the big deal. There is a lot to be seen there for a mere 15 dollars.

I never knew what is cost to get in anyway... i play in the tourney and all 4 days are included in the entry fee.

I don't think $15 is too out of line...that's just a bit more than a movie ticket nowadays.

Admission should be $1000 for everyone who brings in a large case full of cues with only the intent to pimp around and sale.

15.00 is a bargain. That's what one night of a TAR stream costs and I guarentee this show is better entertainment. Not knocking TAR but the cues are amazing, the highest quality collectables are showcased, you can rub elbows with some of the top pros, side bet in the pit, etc. I don't see anyone not going over a 5 dollar bill. I missed the last few years due to having a family and time constraints but will make it back this year. I was at the first one 20 years ago and have enjoyed every one I ever went to very very much!

He puts on a great show

Last year I went out to smoke and started talking to one of Allens employees
I was telling him that it was my first time at the show. I said to him This must be so much work all year long to make happen. We then started talking money and he told me Allen makes a little over 400 thousland after all is said and done. Maybe true or not and I really don't care I have a wonderful time there and he is the only one willing to do this for the game and fans. I don't care if he makes one mill. $15 entry fee will not kill me for the amount of enjoyment I get out of it.

Just so you know, we don't allow that. If we see it, we stop it. Of course, there are lots of people and it's hard to catch everyone. If you do see someone doing this, let us know and we will inform them and make them bring their dealer case outside and not allow them back in with the case.

We do try and stop this behavior, but as you can imagine, it is difficult to enforce.

Just though I'd let you know...

I know, Allen.....you guys do a good job with this but it is a difficult task with such a big show. We appreciate all you do for exhibitors.....many thanks !!

I think it is well worth the price. I don't care how much anyone makes. I have a good time. I go for the entire expo. If Allen makes a lot of money, good for him. He puts on a great convention. I have never heard any vendor complaining about the cost.

.............havent been in years, if time permitted i would go......
