Super Billiards Expo 2007... Who's going?

I will be there have my booth upstairs next to the Gabriel Tabel booth.

I had a lot of fun and business was good last year, although I did not attend any party.

Here is my picture gallery from last year:) : http://www.xtremebilliard.com/page9.html

Looking forward to meeting all of you there.

Hey Richard,

You have a pending question over on the other forum. The mod is curiously awaiting a response directly from you.

For those of you going to Jeeves' party, just a little FYI.... In years past Jeeves had a sponsor for the party. Last yr that sponsorship fell through and he decided to go ahead and do it on his own. Those parties are a tradition that people (myself) were going to miss terribly. Due to him doing this on his own, he had to go with a smaller suite than in yrs past but that was the only difference. All your favorite beer and liquor were still free flowing.

Last yr I made a post urging all those that attended to please make a donation in the tip jar to help cover the costs. Many, many people did so and on behalf of Jeeves, I thank you. With all the generous folks making donations, Jeeves was still quite a bit in the hole once all was said and done. Even so, he's still going through with it again this yr. THANK YOU JEEVES! Once again, I want to urge everyone to please make a donation towards the costs of this great party. The drinks are free and I guarantee you, with the prices of alcohol at the Expo, you'd spend a fortune drinking anywhere else. Please keep this in mind when making your donation. ;)

Just so you guys know... Jeeves lives a couple of hours from Harrisburg (where all his liquor & beer connections are) now. He rents a small moving truck, drives a couple of hours to Harrisburg, loads up, and then drives two hours to Valley Forge.... oh yeah, he also takes time off of work to do this. All of this and he doesn't get paid a penny. In the end, he ends up spending quite a bit out of pocket.

Jeeves, thank you for all that you do during Valley Forge. Your efforts and the end result (the parties) are so very much appreciated. ;)

Hey Timberly and Jeeves!!

I will donate six 1-lb bags of my nuts for a raffle to help!! (two bags for each night, minus Sunday) Think of a quart-size ziplock bag (half the size of the ones I donated for the DCC AZB Room), and there you go!! You can do it right there and it won't cost any shipping fees. I even have raffle tickets you can use!

Buy a raffle ticket. :D

Barbara, thanks for the generous offer! I'm sure we'll be able to work something out with that.

Where may one find these raffle tickets that you speak of? :D

This will be my first year attending the Expo and I'm definatly looking forward to it.

I live about 10 min's from Harrisburg if anyone needs any help with moving, transporting, etc. Just an offer......hope to see everyone there!

I will be more than happy to do my part to help pay for the party. See everyone there. Chris.

Hey all

I will produce another thread with more information some time soon, probably with timberly's help. you all have a great day.

hey joe, you wouldnt have an extra room booked, would ya? we didnt plan on going this year, but we changed our mind and the hotel is booked. if anyone has an extra room or decides on cancelling, please let me know BEFORE you cancel.
thank you,
joey

I hadn't put my reply on this thread yet. I put the same reply every year so far.

As long as it is a single elimination event, I won't be going.

In case your wondering, it is because I suck at pool. LOL

The expo is SOOOO much more than the tournament though.
I suck and I enter every year because you get in the expo free with entry. Actually last year somebody sucked MORE than me and I got past a round. :) If you qualify for the seniors tournament (which is what I enter) the competitions a little softer there.
Think about it.

hey Captain, if you decide not to go, please let me know and ill take the room from ya.
thank you,
joey

Actually Cats, that's not true. You're paying a $75 fee - $50 for the tourny, $25 for your 4-day pass.

From my personal experience, I can say that making a contribution to this party is the best investment you will make at the Expo. You get great drinks and you meet a better class of people than you will meet at the bar. :D

Well that's interesting to know. I must have missed that if it is advertised. Same effect though, except I suppose the 25 bucks doesn't go in the prize fund which doesn't effect me at all.
