Super billiards expo 2025

Last year he was hanging out at the cuetec booth and swear I saw him playing on the rasson tables. He’s listed to play in the pro event I thought. The turn out seems to be a little better since they changed to 9 ball and became a matchroom points event.
No Shaw? Not even a booth.

That has got to encourage some bigger talent, the matchroom points.

Well, Jayson out is prob a good thing for 4-63 players too...

Ah...Secaucus was the very first...maybe 1992?...the next year it moved to Valley Forge for about 15-18 years, until it became a casino, and it went back to Edison, NJ for I think one year (maybe 2?)..then it went to it's current location in Oaks, PA....
2025 will be the 31st SBE. The location history is as follows:

#1 ..... 1993 -- Secaucus, NJ; Meadowlands Convention (now "Exposition") Center
#2 - #19 ..... 1994-2011 -- King of Prussia, PA; Valley Forge Convention Center
#20 ..... 2012 -- Oaks, PA; Greater Philadelphia Expo Center
#21 - #22 ..... 2013-2014; Edison, NJ; NJ Convention and Exposition Center
#23 - #31 ..... 2015-2019 & 2022-2025 -- Oaks, PA; Greater Philadelphia Expo Center

I played in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd events. Remember having to wait in line at the change machine to get quarters for the pay tables.
 Also they had a "players meeting" that you HAD to attend. They then went and one by one called everyone's name and you had to verify you were there. Think this took 2 hours or more. Had their stuff together though for Valley Forge. This was always a great event. Haven't been there in probably 10 years but every winter I "intend" to sign up but never seem to complete the task.

Right you are; thanks! I have corrected post #63, and am repeating it here:

Going up for the day on Saturday just to get into some cheap action.

Last year, this year, and I think the next 2 years, it has been falling on a date of an event I cannot miss so I have been unable to play in the tournament like previous years.

Really wish it would move to a later month.

Has the Super Billiard Expo always been a bar table tournament? If it has not when did it change?

I saw someone with a 440 Fargo rating playing in the pro event. I don’t understand this. Why not just play in an amateur open? Lot of really good amateurs.

Thrills. Two and out as dead money can be a more valuable experience than taking down a 200 dollar tourney.

He hasn’t played in a couple years. To small a tournament these days. The only big names out here for sponsors at well
Crazy though.

You would think this would be an event you want your player at... not just for the tournament, but for the accessibility the fans have to them in their booths, doing demos, kissing hands, shaking babies and showing off products directly to fans.

Yeah you would think he would be there for cuetec. Their booth now is every bit as big as predators.
