Super Pro for B/J ?

I ordered some of these tips for the first time, one friend of mine has a B/J cue that needs tip replacement and he wants leather and not phenolic . I would try to press Super Pro in order to perform well for jumping also. What do you think, did you ever press a Super Pro and how much ?

I have used a fresh Super Pro and can jump with a full cue no problem with it. Just don't put to much arc on the tip.

Arc my bad... curve of the tip use more of a quater shape on it.

Soak it in milk for 24 hours and press the crap out of it. If that isn't hard enough install the tip and shape it. After shaping soak the tip with super glue and shape again. Pro's can't use Phenolic and that's legally as close as you can get to phenolic.

I just put a Super Pro on a $20 Eliminator sneaky. I will not go back to a phenolic ever. I can't jump well with a full size cue but, I gave a half dozen to the cue repair guy in town. Up till then he hadn't heard of the Pros.
He said they work just fine for jumping with a full size cue and loves em.
Doesn't hurt to experiment with them and see what happens but I like em just how they are.
Funny thing is, I played a full game with the Pro on it and did quite well.

Soak it.....press it.....install it, and cut it as low as possible to the ferrule. (less leather=more power) i prefer a nickle radius on my j/b.

not sure what u mean. I have 2 shafts for my jb 1 phen 1 super pro. I was impressed how well the super pro jumped. I was shocked I could even jump at all.
