Up for Sale is a MINT condition Searing. [updated info. 08/09]

- Thank you all for your kind support. Apologies i could not respond to each of your thread as i do not want to break the 48hours rule.
- added "sale by best offer" to cut out unnecessary debates over the value of the cue
- corrected the typo on the cue weight, the correct weight is around 18.9oz

The cue was bought from Paul & Chady from P&C cues after the 2013SBE. Had to fight off at least another 10 or so buyers to secure the cue. Only test hitted no more than 10 racks on the table at home. It's simply too good for me to take out and use as a daily player. It has always been my bragging right as a posing collector/ player. It appears to be new, but i can't tell you if it has been refinished.

specs:
- nice bird-eye maple forearm and alves points
- inlays are ivory
- weight = 18.9-19oz, breaks down to 15.07, 3.89 & 3.90 oz
- shaft size = 13 to 13.1mm
- ferrule = melamine
- no nicks or scratches
- current condition is MINT, 99%

IMPORTANT:
cue is located in AUSTRALIA. Prefer to sell to Asia countries to avoid the ivory issue. However, i can ship to USA if you're willing to take the risk.

Reputable Dealer can have the cue first. However, it must be agreed that if the cue gets seized by the custom, the buyer is still liable to pay the full amount.

Bought the cue @ 7.5K. i believe Searing is one of the handful cues that keeps its value in the current soft market. Taking offers for the next 2 weeks via PM and email, highest bidder gets the cue subject to appropriate shipping and payment arrangements. The cue is also posted for sale on a Chinese pool forum.

All REASONABLE offers will be considered.

PM or email bids to albertmi_01@hotmail.com

Albert from Australia

Good Luck with that price

I may have you're sentiment wrong but if I don't, I've heard that before.... Just because you can't afford it doesn't make it worth less.. Save some ice for your ass cheek from kicking yourself for not buying this when you had the chance...

Good Luck with that price

You must not know about searing cues then and even if he's a tad high it's his cue to ask what he wants. Why bash him in public!? I'll bet money he gets within a grand from his price

That's a great cue that I've held in my hands and tried first hand. To add Albert (cizco) is a great person to deal with, will vouch for him anytime.

Hope this searing finds a good home.

On another note, looking forward to having you back in China!

A little more info..

Just so you guys know what's up with Robert(Inf2DV) He was severely wounded in battle. He took the better part of an IED blast the damn near killed him.. He spent a great deal of time in the hospital trying to get repaired and the result was this.. He is not 100% connected to his brain anymore and he sometimes says things that most of us would consider wrong or poorly timed.. I knew him on AZ for sometime and only recently had the opportunity to meet him and get to know him as he moved to my area a few months ago.. Robert is a great guy and he means well guys.. He is just trying to assimilate back into life.. Please give him a pass when he says stuff that is off-color or inappropriate.. He really is a great guy.. Pool and AZ Billiards are his love these days because he in unable to do much else.. thanks for listening..

WELL, That will get him a LIFETIME pass from me and I bet from all the others as well!
Be Well Robert and Thanks for your service!

Pricing a cue is difficult nowadays, especially with the Forum crowd.
Searing is a prestigious name in pool cue making and his cues are very expensive.
Anyone can ask anything for the cue they are selling and the price doesn't need justification.
The sales interest and ultimately, the sales results are the only things that matter to a seller.

I don't know a lot about Searing cues except that his cues seem scarce and expensive too.
Nonetheless, I can understand why someone would question the thread based upon what
$7500 will net you in a pool cue nowadays....... a whole lot by even bigger named cue-makers.
Anyway, it's the terms that will undermine the chances of a sale more than the seller's asking price.

Who wants "any" pool cue so badly they would risk many thousands of dollars for the chance to own it?
The cue has to get through the Int'l ivory ban gauntlet before most persons would cough up $ to buy it.....IMO.

We create them and we must learn to live with them.

I do that quite regularly and have never suffered any head injuries. I for one could care less what someone asks for their cue. The market ultimately determines the value. If someone decides to purchase the OP's cue for what he is asking, clearly, it was the correct price.

thanks Jive. Just a tad scared of the these little black rooms you & paul have mentioned.

Get some real problems as you have no clue what a difficult life is truly like!

People like you make me sick. You are selling thousand dollar cues because you burned too many hundred dollar bills starting a fire to smoke your crack pipe.

I dont want to see your bs on this website. Sell your stuff but stfu. You disgust me!

Hey there Ibuycues. Mind ur own business about me. You go to a penalty box! Or better still let me place you in one LOL. Ive suffered quite enough thank you very much.

IED blasts are horrible and no one deserves that. However these soldiers at least get recognized for their injurys. I never will for my own nor will I ever see justice against the people whom mortally wounded me.

You're service to this country should be commended .... Be well
