The same here....I never knew until someone mentioned it back on 7/7/08. I then joined immediately.

Thanks for the reminder. I split 1st/2nd in last weeks 'B' at Sac HardTimes and some of the pool $$ is now flowing the AZB way.

I am a daily reader for the past year (lurked before) and have enjoyed it a ton. The only improvement I can think of is a text msg to my phone every time Bob Jewett posts --- always a worthwhile read. =)

I agree. You shouldn't have join because of pressure. It should be a free personal choice.

I may have sold a some cues here but I've lost money on all except a few. The worst one was I had to sell a $3000+ McDaniel for $1500. On the ones I came out ahead it was by 10% or less. I'm forced to sell off cues to take care of financial obligations. I should be kicking in for losing money?

Plus I have to put up with negative comments from people not even interested in what I'm selling and don't forget all the low ball offers.

Don't get me wrong - I love this site and its community of cue enthusiasts who are great for the most part. I check in almost every day to see what's offered. I would love to donate to the site if I had the extra cash.

I paid up after I sold a couple cues. Seems like the right thing to do. So I pay every 3 months so they get a couple dollars more a year.
