Support the BEF and help spend Dr. Dave's money

I'm quite concerned that you've been mind-melded into using blue ink. Have you been Aguzin-mented (or augmented) as the case may be? :p
Joey definitely taught me the blue ink trick. Although, I've saved lots of blue ink for him to use in this thread when he's ready to make his contribution. (Hint, Hint.) :grin-square:

He can even use a big font and ALL CAPS if he wants.

P.S.: you should be in receipt of my $250 donation.
That's awesome Sean! Hopefully, this will help inspire others out there. If we raise more than $1K, I'm sure the BEF and junior players will be happy with that.

The current totals are:

AZB user contributions: $425
Dr. Dave's match (up to $500 maximum): $425

Grand total raised for the BEF and Juniors to date: $850

Who's next?

PS: I tried to send you and others "Greenies" for your generosity, but "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to sfleinen again."

I'm in for 25, thanks for doing this, Go KIDS!
Thanks Joe!

The current totals are:

AZB user contributions: $450
Dr. Dave's match (up to $500 maximum): $450

Grand total raised for the BEF and Juniors to date: $900

Who's next?

If we can get one $50 or two $25's, we can max out my match ($500).

And hopefully, the contributions will continue to roll in after that so we can raise more than $1K before Junior Nationals.

Thanks again to everybody,
Dave

Sean,

This is a very generous donation, but the best part is Dr. Dave will match it . Rep to you sir!

I just popped for $25 as well. Thanks for all you do Dr. Dave. Go juniors !
Thank you.

That brings the current totals to:

AZB user contributions: $475
Dr. Dave's match (up to $500 maximum): $475

Grand total raised for the BEF and Juniors to date: $950

Anybody want to contribute the last $25 to max out my $500 match?

Hopefully, many others will also contribute so we can push the total as high above $1K as possible before Junior Nationals.

Thanks again to everybody who has contributed so far.

Best regards,
Dave

My $25 has been sent.

Don't let the fact that Dave is matching $500 stop you from donating.

Ken,
Since you only missed the goal by a couple of minutes, I wouldn't be surprised to see Dave raise his $500 matching donation to cover yours as well. Hint-hint.

Those doctors and computer guys make the big bucks.

Sean: The Demadonts and the Republicants want you in their corner.

I think I've already done my fair share with the $500, the American Billiard Radio (ABR) interview, and all of the work I have put in using my pry bar on the "tight wallets" of AZB users.

I like the way you think, though.

Just sent $50, Dave.
That's awesome Roger. Thanks!

Okay, so some would say I'm a sucker, others may say I hope for too much, some people just call me an @#%$^$%&.. but, how about this..

I already put up my $25, which Dave doubled.

I'm willing to put up another $25 to whomever is willing to donate $25 with an offer to match $25 of the next person in line.

I put $25 up. Person A puts $25, so do I. Person B puts $25, so does person A. Person C puts $25, so does person B and so on.

I'm just a desk jockey, so this is just a one person offer by me. :embarrassed2:

Good job Banks! I hope somebody takes you up on your offer, and thank you for rallying the troups for me. I'm a bit worn out from my efforts. I don't like fundraising very much. It's a lot of work; although, in this case, it is well worth it.

Who's going to keep the ball rolling and take advantage of Bank's offer?

You can do more.

You should just send PM's to all of the "tight wallets" of AZB users.

I have contributed to this very worthy effort for 2 years in a row, and Dr. Dave should be commended for taking this one. Bravo to all who helped him meet his goal this year.

BTW, don't forget that this donation is a tax deduction. I am always grateful when doing my taxes each year to have a few deductions.

My contributions to pool this year will be leaning towards Mosconi Cup efforts. I haven't decided how yet, but I just think this might also be a good cause.

Also, be on the lookout for some of these BEF players when they need to travel overseas. Last year, I think it was Juice who was trying to help a local Texan Joey Bourgeois Jr. from Baytown, TX with expenses, so he could represent the U.S. in South Africa last year. What a great opportunity! These are the kinds of worthy efforts that help American pool flourish.

Again, well done, Dr. Dave, and bravo to all who contributed to the BEF.

That's a great idea. In fact, I already did this for a few people who I knew would want to show their generosity and dedication to our sport.
