Support The Ipt

IPT members have received another round of checks, pool NEEDS the IPT desperately.

The lack of organization, prize money, and general bumbling of the current 10 Ball tourney has made me appreciate the IPT even more.

They've paid 55% of prize money owed and are closing in on 5 million dollars paid in total since their inception. The gambling legislation was a huge blow, particularly if you believe (as I do) that KT was planning on duplicating the VERY successful business model of BWIN

The IPT got pool players EXCITED and MOTIVATED!!!!!!

Put aside your opinion of KT, he seems almost unable to speak the truth regarding anything, perhaps his reputation dictates that he must operate in such a manner, but if he continues with the IPT, as he makes money, so will pool players.

Hate to say it but you are a year or so late.

We do need a good stable tour and when I was talking to Seminole Sports (Tribe) the other day I was told to watch for something exciting soon.

What that is I have no idea. The thing is that they don't do anything halfazz and maybe your support should be directed their way, not to a lost cause.

I wish you well :)

God bless the Seminole Tribe! :)

I also recently heard some good news that some positive steps may soon be on the horizon about pool in the United States.

The mere mention of "IPT" pulls out the best and the worst in posters on this forum, me included sometimes. :o

I think if you were to talk to some the IPT competitors -- IPT members and qualifier players -- you may get a different opinion about the IPT than you would from the majority of the readers of this forum. I have heard mixed opinions from IPT competitors.

Support the IPT? How 'bout the IPT support the players?

Support an organazation run like a bunch of monkeys are at the wheel?

Not just monkeys, but lying monkeys. Gimme a break.

I just can't ever forget this: http://www.hometown.aol.com/jamalloy/IPTVenetian.html

If it wasn't for the IPT, I would have never gotten to drive cross country from D.C. to Vegas. What a great road trip, getting in touch with my Native American roots, seeing all those beautiful pristine corn fields we have here in the States, watching a mama mountain goat hang onto her baby on the side of the Rockies in picturesque Colorado, observing a rain storm in the distance in the desert, and then there's the never-ending incredible Utah plains. Great memories for me! :p

Hu was never involved with the IPT, nor was he ever GOING to be involved with the IPT.

That was all a misdirection by Trudeau to get people distracted from the fact that he said he would fund the tour out of pocket for years if needed, "because he loved the game so much."

Well if and when all the Player who are owned money from the IPT (a corporation) are paid off.

Than maybe it will be time for the Players to once again support the IPT, in very small steps. So they again do not get shafted.

OK, I'll say this one time.

The money he paid the players was NOT all his money. It was money from sponsors, entry fees, sales of IPT DVDs and other assorted crap, web memberships, etc.

When that money dried up, it was over. The ongoing bullcrap about how he paid out all this money is, well... bullcrap.

This post was so full of bad grammer, misspelled words, misuse of punctuation, and sentence structure that I had a difficult time reading it. Put aside the large font and blue text. You quoted me, so I guess you were trying to get my attention.

I think we agree, but I am having such a hard time reading this post, that it's hard to tell.

12 posts since December and this is the best you could do? Really? Really?

who else has paid players 5 million dollars?

I guess if we define what's needed the most in pro pool right now, 5 million is a good place to start. Let's do it again and maybe this time, it will be done right or at least better.

I'm confused why you're waiving the IPT flag just because another check was sent out. That's like you drilling some schmuck out of $5k in a set of pool, get stiffed and then 10 months later that person still owes you $2k and you're cheering about getting paid only part of what is owed.

What about the vendors and business partners of the IPT? Although I know of others, I can only speak of myself. My company, for example, was told my Deno and the rest of his team that they had an "unlimited budget" just one day before the matches started in Reno. Confused, because my partner and I have never heard of such crap before, we asked what that meant exactly. Deno replied, "that's how Kevin operates." (like he's mac-money)

We lost a lot of money with the IPT with no chance of getting paid back--- and the IPT has refused to pay what's owed. My company, which isn't in the pool industry, made an attempt to make something good happen and got screwed.

It's my personal opinion the whole thing was a sham at the end (the Ho deal, etc.) and we were used by the IPT to "take a swing" and finance their multimedia part of their operation.

I can go on and on... but it's humorous how some people still wave the IPT flag. Unreal.

I could care less about companies like yours, what have companies like yours done for the players? Companies like yours are part of the problem.

IPT tried to be part of the solution.

I care about the players, 5 million already paid is a decent enough start.

They're trying to make good on their debt

Only because KT found out that the oral contracts he made with the players were binding and if he defaulted that his azz could land back in prison again. Face the facts: KT is a conman and not a very good one or he would not be in constant trouble with the law.

Don't keep trying to sugar coat a turd because the center will still taste like sh..

He also drug down Deno & Sigel into his pit of lies. Their names will be forever tarnished because of the great IPT fiasco.

You need to stick a pitchfork into this blind eyed support you have for a dead tour. You have more of a chance of seeing Elvis than another tournament out of the IPT.

KT reminds me of that old joke about the Guy who had cancer. The Dr gave him 6 months to live and the guy said he couldn't pay the bill that quick. But he could probably pay it off if he gave him another 6 months.

Blindeyed? hmmmm

Perhaps you missed the fact that he has paid out more money to more players than any promoter in the history of pool.

Can you put aside your PERSONAL feelings regarding KT for a moment, can you put aside your suspicions on what his motovations are?

Not for a second do I think KT is a boy scout, but the monies paid speaks for itself.

If he wants to yap about being all about the players while secretly using the IPT to launder money from fraudelent health books purchased by people too stupid to know any better, well as long as the players are paid, i'm fine with that.

You can't con an honest man.......

I can't believe you don't see it and other people have been saying it also.

The players are being paid with money that was theirs anyway. He is using the money from the sales of tapes, site memberships, and qualifiers to pay them off. That money was promised to go back into the tour to begin with to build it up.

Before you get within 10 miles of KT you need to stop at CVS and get a case of vasaline then pick out your own dirt to throw in it because your azz will hurt for sure.

I know at least 10 former IPT players and everyone would love to have 5 minutes alone with KT. Not one would ever play another event that he even had read the brochure from.

The IPT only succeded in setting pool back another 20 years.

Get Real

I still believe that you're somehow affiliated with the IPT.
