Can we keep the thread conversations on the topic of pool? Speaking of, do any of you guys play BUMPer pool?

This thread is way past "Dumb and Dumber". Somebody post the results so this can DIE.

Funny enough, banking is my forte, so yes, that type of pool I enjoy. Anyone know if any table maker still makes such a table, where I could buy used, going rate, etc? Might as well be productive as long as we are twiddling thumbs here.

I was very surprise that no one commented on the instructional video on how to bump. I am prejudiced, but I thought it was very good and fun to watch.

And yes, it really is about bumping not some song or singer.

Your image is way too simple. It needs to be complicated.

- You forgot to include the center offset of the cue
- You forgot to include the coefficient of friction between the tip and cue ball
- You forgot to include the coefficient of friction between the cloth and the balls
- The tensile properties of the cue ball, the stick and the tip.

So there is no way to clearly determine how can someone vary the power of the BUMP.
