Post scores? WTH? What about Live-Streaming? Someone, once told me that all you need is one of those cheap digi-cameras and a dial-up internet account to stream a pool happening. :p

Ok, ok, ok, just kidding the scores will be nice but no delays, OK? :D

Maybe, a little report on whose face looks like they bit into a bitter persimmon when they miss a shot. :wink:

I like the fact that they are continuing to match up.

Hell, they're only 27 and 32 years old.

These match-ups could well continue for the next 20 or 30 years.

We're pretty lucky.

Alex was right! Shane looked real sharp. He had the best breaks, the best kicks and was getting the best shape. Safety play was about even between the two.

I only caught about 25 of their games and Shane looked like a monster.
 
That is quite a drubbing for this level! I'd say SVB has a big psychological edge at this point.

By the time I got there there were about 10 different people posting scores here, there fb & twitter, ball by ball and when even someone farted ;) I offered to update if no one else was so just enjoyed the match.

Delta13 rack I believe. Winner broke.

I've watched Alex play a few times before and he definitely was not playing his A game. This was my first time watching SVB live, and he played well. I don't know if it was the table, but I think it took until game 40 or so before someone ran two racks in a row, so neither player was dominating (at least for top pros, they both played about 973,783 times better than I can).

All-in-all was a fun night.
 
Was RRPhantom an alias (sc5)? I'm lost. I figured he was choking on his own words.

Also 40-20 is a BAD ASS WIN!!!

I can confirm that they used a Delta-13 rack.

I saw Shane had a 2-pack when I first got there, which was at about game 25 or 26. I don't know if he was in the middle of a bigger run before that.

The normally unflappable Alex was flapping against Shane's powerful play. Winning at a 2 to 1 margin is tough to do. It was an impressive display.
 
I am not sure why RRPhantom got banned. I looked back through this thread and did not see anything he said or did to deserve banning unless he did it in private and it was passed along to the mods. To me he had an opinion which we all have but he did not say one thing derrogitary that I saw. If someone is banned for all he said that is quite sad and pathetic to say the least.
