SVB vs Chang Update Thread

Haven't seen any of this match but the stats above would suggest that they are playing relatively evenly, but Chang is slightly outbreaking Shane which is probably the difference explaining his lead. How are those that have been watching seeing it?

I am not watching it, but the statistics look like Chang is outplaying him, but losing on mistakes of some sort.

He has made about 40 more balls on the break than Shane and he is about 70 ahead in pocketed balls.

He has had more breaks and runs, more consecutive break and runs, less scratches on the break and less dry breaks, too.

Looks like Chang is just winning more games off the break .
He's missed a lot more and made more mistakes but is breaking much better .

From watching the statistics and ball counts as the games progressed, it seems that Chang’s errors came at crucial points at the end of games when only a couple of balls were left on the table.

Regardless of how this match ends up, this has been some awesome pool and a nailbiter and there needs to be a rematch for sure. I've seen it that way. Many rolls have gone to Chang, his break has been better. Shane would start to get something together and then the break would get him. There were many times Chang's break was incredible, then there were many times it was so so and he would catch a last minute roll to be able to get a shot and get out. Chang's mistakes have been more egregious than Shane's, Shane's being more slight overruns and Chang's being complete flubs.

Again, still couldn't have asked for a better match...

Yup,pretty rough place to live back then if you ask me. They lifted the martial law in 1987 which basically started the democratization process over there😉
I lived in the Philippines for three years while President Marcos had the country under Martial Law, too.
