I'm going. Just gonna drink a few more glasses of Airborne Formula before I go.
Airborne is actually meant to be taken for the common cold. Also, they're saying Swine Flu is actually tricking the immune system to work TOO hard so perhaps you might want to skip on that glass of Airborne altogether. Honestly, I really have no clue as to the effectiveness of Airborne for this. As far as I know, the only treatment at this point are anti-viral drugs (there is no vaccine yet) and maintaining precautionary hygenic measures (wash your hands frequently and thoroughly, don't touch your eyes, mouth or nose before doing so). I don't even know about the effectivenss of face-masks nor am I looking forward to wearing one but they seem to be sold out everywhere.
There is a push to emphasize calling it "H1N1 flu" instead of "swine flu" -- at least in some political circles.
Some countries have banned the import of pork products from the United States, i.e., China and Russia. Egypt is killing all their pigs.
There is one school of thought that this pandemic scare may incite the recession even further than where it is at now. Chrysler is going to be forced into bankruptcy is the latest buzz, which adds salt to the economic wound.
We are in an "economic Katrina" right now, and this H1N1 flu could have devastating effects not only in health but on the global economy. The scary thing is it's still an unknown entity.
The strain that people are catching in the U.S. is not as strong as the strain in Mexico. The CDC can't figure out why.

During an interview today with VP Joe Biden, Biden said that he would advise his family members to not fly by air.
Given the way that Biden is always putting his foot in his mouth, I expect a clarification on his comment any time now.
