My friend has a Gus Boti that he bought about a year before Gus' death. It has 4 ebony points and plain ebony butt sleeve. Both shafts have ivory ferrules. I would rate the butt in very good condition(about 9 of 10) with the shafts having minor coloring from play. We were discussing the cue and it's value came up. Neither of us was sure what the market was like and was wondering if someone can give us an estimate of the cues value. This cue is not for sale. We were just curious as to it's value.
He also has the original shipping container with labels.

Thanks

I would say $6,500 - $7,000

Sometimes the original box is worth more than a lot of makers cues by itself

If that guy will sell that cue for $5500 or even this mysterious $4000 cue that supposedly sold here on AZ a little while ago, I'll buy as many as my pickup will hold
