Tony has offered up open invitations to anyone to play full rack banks (don't know if the location matters)

I'd like to jump in with a few beans on Brian, maybe something can get rolling.

Based on the other thread about best bankers, I wonder if TAR will ever think about this game.

What an incredible match that would be.

They asked Brian about playing that game at DCC. He didn't care to much for playing full rack. He wants to bank not duck.
 
I'm pretty sure EITHER of the games could be made.

A lot of the timing in asking Brian if he will play xyz is what he is doing right then. He puts his head into matches well before they start and that would not be the proper time to ask about a match of that caliber.

They could play Coleman, Fargo, Gregg, in a bank tournament TAR style and my money is still on Gregg.
 
Short rack I like Brian. Flat out making banks, Brian might be the best in the country.

Full rack Tony moves like a ghost. Hard to bet anyone playing full rack with him except maybe Shannon.

I would rather see Tony and Shannon play.

I don't think the majority of people has seen full rack banks played,it's a better game than short rack.

i love the full rack bank set up! its a great format!
 
The best of both worlds would be Tony F and Shannon hooking up for full rack banks and Brian and Tony C in short rack. I like Shannon and Brian in those games.
 
Let's not let this thread die out, we all know there is interest in it.
What can we do to further this?

Perhaps a Swiss tourney with the 4 mentioned names each having to play each other.

JCIN/ Nasty/ I would pay $150 for the DVD of this match, and also contribute to an entry fee for one player.


Let's get this to happen.
 
Brian is an offensive machine. Not the other 3 aren't, because they all play absolutely incredible. Playing full rack, with safe breaks, I like Fargo and Shannon, then Coleman and Brian. Full rack, breaking them wide open, making it an offensive shootout, with very limited safe play, Brian has a good chance with any of them. I like Brians chances better this way, more than just playing short rack.
It would make for a great bank series for TAR, maybe even get Piggy and Jason Miller for a 6 man round robin.
 
Is there any chance that any of us could make this match happen either the original suggested match T Fargo B Gregg or a swiss format with Daulton and Coleman.
 
I love the idea of a banks ring game. Seeing Greg, Fargo, Miller, Coleman and Chohan would be amazing. I'm game.

Derekdisco must be talking about another T-Rex, because the one that plays pool doesn't want any part of that bank game, offered and rejected on his part.

If I not mistaking they blurted on the microphone that they would play anybody some banks for 5,000, and in the hallway they were asked to play from the same people who put me in the ring game, the game did'nt happen (I WONDER WHY). Anyway I would love to play

I would like to say i like brian he is a great player and a even better guy to know with that said.

The reason the game didnt go off in the hallway was your steaker made a stipulation of you had to break wide open all the time and we said if your guy can break however he wants and tony can break however he wants and your guys said no.:eek:
by the way when that match was offered on the mic it was to the whole field not just brian it was to t-rex, colman, miller, putman, not just brian.

I would be interested in playing anyone full rack banks, I would however prefer to play where both players break wide open. Break wide open has a ring to it. I'm not sure how much $ I can raise but I promise anyone who comes to MO $1,000 a set action. THe best way to play full rack is to bank untill all the balls are gone - with this format the first person to reach 23 balls is your winner. I would also play just a race to eight, anyone interested feel free tp pm me and we can discuss the details. I am good action and a complete gentlemen to gamble with.
