Table of cues....no shafts this time...2/18/12

What would you estimate the value of the entire collection?

Thats a great question
I counted my way threw, and I think there are 47 in one row
and 53 in the other row - yeap, 100 nice pieces of wire wood. ;)

And as we can see many Black Boars, some ivory handle pieces,
and for sure some Szambotis and Bushkas, I would say at least.........

Several times this without question. There are some cues on that table worth 50k on their own!

Either way it is a very impressive collection, some of the creativity in the picture is simply stunning.

Someday your son will be very lucky :D

As John would say

As my friend John O'neil use to say "Mighty fine pile of Lumber, mighty fine!"

Steve that a great collection you have there, and that was a lot of work to lay them out and put them back with the right cases.

Eric

Aint that the truth, its a 5 hour job. I had a friend do that once for me. Tikkler must have had lots of coffee that day ;)

When I sold the mansion in Vegas and moved, I packed up the cues and took them from storage to my house to get organized to move that was a 4 hour job. I drove them in one car from Vegas to LA with a 2nd car behind me in case something happened to the car with the collection in it. I had a film storage vault in Hollywood lined up to drop them off at for safe keeping. I only keep 5-6 cues at home in LA. Its a ordeal to move a collection, the cue vendors have a system down and are used to it, man they earn their $$$. there is no easy way to move a million dollars worth of cues. I dont have a mil in cues but you know what I mean. Its lots of work. I have a great spot in LA for storage, much better than the place I had in Vegas. Its 10 minutes away so I can get to my cues easy.

i dont think thats the entire collection, thats what fits on that table, as I recall Steve owns some cues I dont see on that table. Thanks for Sharing that picture Steve, someday I might do a group shot again, but not in the near future, my cues are in a film vault and I dont have a table where I'm living(otherwise i'm happier than I been in years). Good luck with everything, perhaps i'll see you at SBE.
