Justin, any idea when the new website of TAR will be available?

I am asking because I would love to watch again some of the older TAR broadcasts.

Keep up the good work.

Still working on it. Its brutal. Just spent a month and half going back and forth with one company only to come down to a final proposal that basically has them making more money than we do along with us guaranteeing them a percentage of their end plus a $5K+ up front fee. Its ridiculous. I cant believe people make these kinds of deals.

So I am still looking.

It's like dealing with the Mafia. "Cousin Fat Tony is going to pick up your garbage...For whatever we say it costs...whenever we feel like it.

JCIN, I hope you saved those Big Nasty videos I passed to you the other day on external hard drive. Rumor has it, Ustream is in the zap-mode again. Grab those puppies and file 'em away quick. Lots of good archived videos by a lot of streamers were lost with the last arbitrary "no notice" Ustream removal!

Much respect for what you do,

Bob

I hate to overstate the obvious, but with SVB and Dechaine in the box playing long sets, this has the potential for what many want to see- both guys will be hitting each other with packages.

This might be like a UPS vs FedEx death match.

Eric

Or it could be 9 hours of racking and 3 hours of pool.

Little cheeky to "thanks justin!!" and then steal from him :)
Try buying it... I'm not saying that to lecture you, it's actually just much more fun watching live. Lots of people chatting, posting, etc... next best thing to being there. Watching later doesn't feel the same.

at least with the tighter pockets the better player should win now with the bigger pockets the better breaker will have a clear advantage.. svb will destory mike dschaine.

Well, breaking is part of playing too, so I don't think you can really say "X breaks better than the other guy, and therefore wins more games, but he's not the better player".
The better breaker is the guy who got his practice priorities straight!

Incidentally Mike's famous for his big break too. So this one will still probably come down to runout skills. Big pockets or not, they're playing enough games to figure out who that is.

Or it could be 9 hours of racking and 3 hours of pool.

They'll probably use magic racks, both seem content with them.

So what does the bracket look like now? If I remember correctly, Bustamante and Archer would still be on the winners' side. I thought Shane's loss to Johnny would have knocked him out of contention?

I would like to see Max Eberle in the mix. He has certainly been picking up steam lately.

Far be it from me putting words into JCIN's mouth regarding seen SVB but if I was to reply for him, I'd say:

Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago's death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!

...and JCIN - thank you for bringing us the action.
