TAR 35 Sunday updates

You must not like money lol. Give credit where it's due. Nobody can run the long race like Shane. Not even asked. Shane learned from the last time. That's what make him a champion. He hasn't stopped improving, even to this day. He's getting better and better. He's a freak if nature

your kidding

Regardless of this one match, I'd still take Dennis over Shane any day especially outside of this TAR studio.

After this display by Shane, people will be lining up to take your $..including me, this was an ass whipping, Orcollo wasn't in Shanes league. Anybody can "think" whatever pleases them..but I saw the match, if you can call it that. Orcollo just got crushed but you will take him "any day"?? Did you take him any day this weekend? Like Justin said, race to 100 will erase any doubt as to who the better player is at this time..and right now thats SVB.

To give Dennis some credit.....he never rolled over and gave up.
He was actually up 5 games today.
Shane played brilliant on Friday.

Dennis lost with a smile and spoke well of Shane....he wins like a champion.....
....and he loses like a champion.

The overreaction like above is exactly what I expected. You probably are like some who claim he is the best player in the world even when he has not won a world title I can think of.

To say a multiple time world champion is not in someone's league based off of one match is ridiculous. How many times has he even beaten Dennis? I am pretty sure Dennis is still ahead overall in their meetings.

Shane is a monster for sure on a race to 100. Tournament race to 7-11, for others to stand a chance. Dennis did win several tournaments this yr that shane was in. DCC 10b big foot challenge for 20k.

Exactly. It wasn't just the break, Dennis made more unforced errors and didn't get out many games where he should have. Because of Shane's break each of those errors usually ended up costing Dennis 2-3 games.

Dennis actually won day 3 on games won.

He did get an as whipping but it's not as if he has not beaten Shane previously.

I think Shane did win a World Ten Ball title though. And the US Open is a world title.

I think it's a coin flip no matter where they play. Shane is obviously comfortable in the TAR studio but he has been beaten there as well.

Obviously though Shane shows how big the break REALLY is when you really have it down.

Both played great! Shane played better this time! I'm willing to bet though that Dennis can ask Shane to do it again for 50k and I think Shane would decline! If Shane does agree, I think it would go Dennis's way!!! But either way, excellent performance by Shane! He is undoubtedly the best player in the USA! Not like some fat headed pool players who get horsef***ed! And then bit** about everything! Just saying:) but at the end of it all, I would really like to see the players in long races like this in all the games! Races to 100 in 9-10 ball! Race to 75 in 8-ball! Straight pool to 150 say race to 25! And some one hole!!!! See who is on top of that!!!! Find out who really is the best POOL player! And yes, Shane would definitely be close to the top there!!!

So, in other words...shorter races favor the quarter horse, but when it comes to running a 26 mile marathon, that don't really mean all that much....gotcha;)

I think boxing started it's downhill slide when they cut back world championship bouts from 15 rounds down to 12, because them last 3 rounds were called...the championship rounds for a reason;)

14.1 should be played to 2,000 points, well beyond a players ability to run out, thereby making it a true fight for the win, might even see some 500+ runs, who knows:grin:

Shane is a beast..that TAR table is like home for him..even Shuff doing commentary said he's so confident right now its ridiculous. Everyone wanting to take Dennis when the match was announced in the Action Room made me back off and not bet hard, everyone said Orcollo was the best $ player in the world..Shane schooled him, it was never a fair fight.

you do realize this was a challenge match correct?

Well it's over...an amazing performance by SVB. Will this settle the question of who is best?

Of course not...that's human nature.

As it should be,

you do realize this was a challenge match correct?

In the Philippines they take EVERY action match seriously. Dennis wasn't in an exhibition challenge match, this was a clear fight for pecking order. Dennis knows full well that he isn't just playing for himself but also all the people who were betting on him. In the Philippines they often play gambling matches for $500 or $1000 and they play hard, as hard as they can because to lose means to lose face and lose support and lose backers.

So I have no doubt Dennis was trying his very best to win. He simply didn't play his very best and Shane did.

yes the same guy that lost 5/6 of em in a row when it was true gambling

Please detail to me when Shane lost 5 or 6 of anything in a row at any time gambling.

I realize you are just hating and thats cool. Its everyones right. But just completely making shit up and throw it out there is a bit of tard thing to do.
