TAR Intern

I enjoy most of the material covered but I must say, sorry Mark, that some spots get rough (e.g. Alaska, Bingo, Grady vs. Efren, and a few more repetative subjects). Maybe because I've heard so much of it before.

Just sayin' someone like Holly Sonders (the Golf Channel Girl) would help smooth all that out :grin-square:

There are some very, very sharp pool playing ladies in Vegas that would likely be down for such a thing.

I never knew how he did it, but JR Calvert was always able to recruit some pretty good interviewer types for his video projects.

JCIN Please

I paid to watch Shane and got Jennifer Baretta, never again.
While she is a great Women Pool Player, she was a not a good commentator.
I will not pay for a TAR match where Jennifer is the commentator.
Sorry JCIN but she is not Hot.
Look around you are in Vegas.

Corey.

Get some bimbo to start teaching lessons in your Billiard Academy.
Then, throw her on the lathe and get her to do some cue repairs for you.

Come back and let us know how well that worked out for ya.

No offense or anything but you don't see Justin starting threads telling you how to run your biz, right.

After all, you do have your own business so there is absolutely nothing stopping you from taking your own advice.

If I had a chance, Jen would be in my Man Cave Dungeon working the lathes but somehow I don't think the wife would approve.

OMGWTF often takes the Greyhound to sweat TAR for her blog.

Katy from Sharks lives in Vegas.

Both are sharp as a tack and tongue.

Did this gambling with Shane up in Iowa --

Rack rotation- he gets to break and then has to run, from where the cue ball is after the break, four balls in order and he can start with any ball. Scratch on the break is an authomatic loss. IE - he can start with pocketing the 7 ball and then has to make the 8, 9, 10 to win. You can do it where they are or are not allowed to go 14, 15, 1, 2. Also, if for example, you start with the 7 ball and the 8 ball was made on the break then he would have to run the 7, 9 , 10, 11.

See how many attemps in a row he or any of the other TAR pros can run doing this.

Sounds familiar

I don't understand what you mean you paid for Shane and got Jen.

Thats simply not the truth.

Jen hosted the SVB Instructional Series. Its plainly stated. She does what a host does....she asks questions and moves things along. I assure you Shane in front of a camera by himself would of been much much worse.

Its cool if you dont like Jen or dont like the videos but to make it sound like some kind of bait and switch is just not being honest.

Well when you tell people whatever they want to to hear regardless of the truth it opens up a lot of possibilities. I just dont roll like that so I guess I'll have to fade life without the sideline reporter chick for awhile.

I like the idea of some kind of skill test type drill that all the guys could try and we keep track of who does the best. Kind of like a Top Gear thing.

Good idea.

That's awesome!

I enjoyed watching Shaw and Alcano perform Appletons drill. A regular feature would be cool.

It would be best to keep any type of skill test drill secret to prevent either player from practicing in advance.

Also, the skill test drill should change radically from one event to the next.

It would be nice if they did a skill set test that everyone at home could do to see how they stack up. Something like a line of 10 balls evenly spaced across the foot spot, no cue ball. Just hit each ball down the table and back and see if it lands dead center on their tip, glances off, just misses tip or way off. A simple training exercise on how accurate the straight shot is.
