Was Jayson Shaw in the wrong?

I know you are planning on talking about savers but I would be interested in each of yours as well as others opinions on whether Jayson was wrong talking about what deals could of happened? And the fact that a deal with Earl didn't happen.?
Does anyone's opinion of Shane change now? If so,, in a positive or negative way?

More from Shaw...

What about his comments concerning Mike D.....not just his 13-3 pounding, (that will probably help TAR sales) ,but his implication that Mike D. Has Head "problems"....or is that just considered common knowledge?

What the heck happened to women's pro pool in the US - it's on life support. Can it and might it, be revived?

I would like to talk about the Mosconi Cup.
As Earl referred to in an earlier TAR Podcast..how many more "Shanes" do we need in order to compete and better the Europeans?

(Also, please don't mention ONE word about Bonus Ball in this podcast. Silence will certainly be golden in this case).
Thanks, guys. Keep up the great work!

I'd like to see some pictures of Mark's poolroom/s in ALASKA.

Question to Mark G. TAR has stated many times that any player that does business in a TAR match up will be banned for life. Would you ban players from your tournaments for life that did business on TAR or at one of your tournaments?

There is a promoter in the ABP that is in the click that is famous for savers, splitting and chopping. As this only hurts pro pool and he should know it, but if some of the big name promoters pulled the plug on doing any pro tournaments, IMO he would be right there picking up the tournaments canceled. What do you think? Johnnyt

Good Question...but not the hot topic right now. Johnnyt

Yeah but... They had a podcast last week and covered a lot of hot topics. I asked that question because Mark is a promoter and wonder if there's opportunity for a promoter for women pros. Perhaps it's a good diversionary question between the "who shot JR" questions.

Any chance on getting SVB & Lee Vann Corteza matched up on TAR. Lee Vann has been hot lately.

Wish, I had a Saver

Justin, I sponsor Francisco Bustamante every year at the West Coast Challenge in Mountain View, Ca.
Two years ago he won the One Pocket and Ten Ball, Scott Frost wanted a Saver in One Pocket.
I didn't want to do it but allowed it.
So I know t happens !!!!!!

This year Francisco didn't place so the week cost me a $1000 dollars.
I wish we wold have had a Saver, shagrin?

We all know the Pro Players don't make enough money to survive.

I don't like it but I am sure that the Players do savers, even on TAR.

It is better for the players to split the money in Half, they need it.
Of course they will not tell you.

TAR is the only PPV that I purchase, keep up the good work.
Take Care, Barney Calip

A general question on the state of Fillipino pool. Who's footing the bill for all the the Fillipino players that travel the globe? And who's winning in the wake of diminished pool championships there: Makabenta or Puyat?

(Also, please don't mention ONE word about Bonus Ball in this podcast. Silence will certainly be golden in this case).

Kinda hard to talk about the recent retirements without mentioning the cause of at least one notable recent retiree. Frost was very clear that BB wrecked his life. I wonder how many other pros are feeling like quitting after such a horrible let down.

I say this is a good time to talk about the negative impact this whole BB fiasco has generated.

1. Just for Zhitz and Giggles. Will TAR matches be using Cyclop balls?

2. If Jayson dismantles MD will he get a chance at SVB?

3. Considering BB /ABP fiascos will JA be welcomed back to TAR?

4. Does SVB know he's part of the ABP propaganda?

Didn't know if Mark was going to mention for the first time ever, the Western BCA is having an Open Ten Ball event during the Lincoln City Oregon event (October 16-17). $4k added to the mens and $3k added to the womens event. Limited field of 32 men and 24 women so if anyone is interested they better check out the flyer and get a hold of the WBCA.http://www.westernbca.org/Tournaments/9-Ball/info9.htm

I would like to know what was the impetus for seeking a new ball manufacturer? What was wrong, if anything, with Aramith? They have sponsored the sport for decades. What is Diamond's business relationship with this new Cyclop company? How does this new relationship affect tournament sponsorships?

Thanks you.

Where are the Pool Fans?

I watch a lot of streams, TAR matches and just don't understand,...where are the fans ? Watching Strickland Vs SVB '@ Dteinway for FREE and maybe 5-600 viewers in the WORLD!? WTF!
