I was looking the cue over thinking the same thing.TATE said:Nice to see a fancy Tascarella. The Cantando is a real looker too.
When you say the Hercek is spliced - where is it spliced? I see solid ebony there.
Must be the Joint Protector has a full splice.

All three cues are very nice. The cue Art made is quite possibly the nicest cue I have ever seen though. All I can say is WOW.

I'VE HAD THE PLEASURE TO SEE ALL THESE CUES IN PERSON, AND THEY ARE TOTALLY AMAZING. THE TASCARELLA IS OF COURSE MY FAVORITE, I'M ON A MISSION TO GET ONE LIKE THAT, WE'LL JUST HAVE TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS.
THE CANTANDO IS CERTAINLY A JAW DROPPER, THE FLOW TO THAT CUE IS AMAZING AND SO IS THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN THE CUE.
THE HERCEK IS SOMETHING YOU DON'T SEE VERY OFTEN FROM JOEL.(IF EVER) I ASKED STEVE ABOUT THE SPLICE WHEN I SAW THE CUES, AND HE EXPLAINED THAT IT IS EBONY SLEEVED OVER A FULLSPLICE BUTT. IT WAS DONE THAT WAY BECAUSE JOEL WON'T BUILD ANYTHING THAT ISN'T FULLSPLICE.

Joel states all of his cues are full spliced for integrety! and cues like steves are sleeved over the splice, like the wrapless gambler i have the splice is under the handle of wood. and the other cues he makes the splice is under the wrap!his splicing keeps the cue true ! and increasing the playability.if you look on his site you will see what looks like a butterfly below the point splice. that is a true full splice as burton spain designd it to be, un like what alot of people call full splice titlest, both are full splice one of them is kinda on steroids!(joels) that is my take on the whole splice ordeal - joel is a true crafstman and goes thrue about 6 more steps than the avrage cue maker to get to the final product!he takes pride in every peice and pours his heart and soul into every one!
