to my eye, that is about as good as it gets for a clean and very striking cue
 
Thanks for all the comments guys. I have been playing with the cue for about a month and it hits great.
 
Great looking cue, I bet it plays like a monster with that straight grain forearm. Incredible colors in the veneers, thanks for sharing.
