That design is my favourite amongst all the Tascarella cues I have seen so far.
I like pretty much all of them but my heart always skips a beat or two when I see such a hoppe Tasc.

Edit: oh, and the other favourite is the fifth cue from right on the first picture (the group shot).
I remember that I couldn't believe it when I first saw one that looked almost the same but had dark rings between the white ones. Marcus, can you enlighten me if this is the same cue as the one in the 3rd edition?

I'll make sure to send you a picture of the Tascarella
I ordered once it arrives. Ivory joint, fiddleback maple forearm
with 4 veneers (outside to inside) black, blue, light blue, white,
with 4 ebony points, elephant skin wrap, ebony backend with
an ivory Hoppe ring. Can't wait to get it. I'm like a kid waiting
for Santa to arrive...

A few we have had

Some different cues...

Third from the left hoppe in the original picture is mine now, player since feb of 2012! Great cue.

Not sure, I got it from you in 2010. Actually upon close examination, the veneers are different colors than mine.

Had the linen wrap, ebony points, bumperless hoppe, looked identical at first glance.

It's a different cue.... the one in the group picture was built using a blank that Pete had bought from Gus in the early 80's.

Great thread, thanks to all for sharing. One day I hope to own one of these magnificent cues.

My 1000th post!

For my 1000th post I thought I would put up some pics of my Tasc. I know it's a simple cue, but that's my style. Had it a little over a year and love the way it plays.

Thanks! I am very happy to say the least.

I love a perfectly executed "plain" cue.... This is my matched set of "plain" Brazilian Rosewood Tascarella players cues. Scary thing is, I've acquired more shafts since this picture was taken.
