I have been teaching my girlfriend to play pool and she has really enjoyed it. It has been a couple months now and she has gotten a lot better. She went from not being able to hold a cue hardly at all, to now actually being able to make a few balls in arow sometimes, which doesn't seem like a lot, but she has definitely come a long way. She still looks pretty awkward though, and I don't think I have the ability to completely correct her fundamentals... well actually I know I don't . So I decided to get her a lesson with a BCA Master Instructor in my area that worked with me when I was younger. Now I don't know if it would be better to be there for this lesson, or if I should just drop her off or let her go by herself. On one hand I think it might be good for me to be around for moral support or just if she doesn't want to be hanging around just a complete stranger for a couple hours. On the other hand I think it would be a good idea to be out of the way so there isn 't any distractions and the instructor can do his job, and maybe she also might be more relaxed if I'm not around at all. Any thoughts on this?
