Team names

Had a co-ed softball team a long time ago......... 10 players...........called it :

"Nine Jerks and a Squirt"

That's the Worst!
 
Loose wrist action

A teammate of mine was put on the spot while sending out our regional team entry form right at the deadline.He had been working on keeping his wrist loose and was practicing back hand english so this is what he came up with.We later got the TDs to change it to something else but we all got a good laugh out of it.

Now when I see Brian I say "whats up loose wrist action?"
 
One team I was on was called "Rack-nophobia" and the other was called "Pick-Pockets". I always liked "No English" as a name.:grin: Ron
 
I'd like to use one of these team names next session if the team agrees (most likely they will). :

Cannibal Saliva
Smokin' Trees
The Kushmatics

Played on an 8 ball team we called the "Shark Hunters" Had shirts with a great white holding a cue airbrushed for us.....we always got a good reception with those on.
 
Also remember playing a team call Half Fast Players.......thought that was funny at the time.....but sure to be on that banned list if used....

I agree with this. I wanted this to be our league team name but they decided on "BIG SPOT!!!!!"

My previous team was called "The Usual Suspects" as everyone liked to complain about sandbagging.
 
My team name is hit and hope.
we are called this for good reason bc most my team is below SL5
Plus most are drunk and they really do hit and hope
 
our team name: cue whores. our team shirts feature a "tasteful" stripper dancing on a cue.

for the inaugural session of a "texas 8 ball" league we tried out "defending champions" which was of course ironic b/c there were no defending champions. on the first night we played this team of true bangers and we overheard one of them say "oh great the first night and we have to play the defending champions". :rolleyes: true story

I once played agains a four man team that called themselves the "4 Cues".

Anytime one of them would win a game they would all high 5 each other, and then would shout out their team name.

Too play on this team you have to be at least 60 and have been at some point at least a 9 in the BCA . . . they call themselves the "Old Phartz". Damn tough team every session.
 
My Team Name

My team voted on this choice out of four or five suggestions:

Poke-n-Hope

The team was originally named Potential Threat and finished dead last our first session together...lol. After changing our name we were in first place until the last week when we lost really bad and dropped to second. So, what's in a name?;)
 
Friends tried to name themselves "kill whitey" but were turned down by TAP...so they are now "Name Not Approved" officially.

I'm on a team called "Jumbo Chili Dog"...don't ask why
 
"We've got the runs". 8 and 9 team name. debating on shirts and how foul they would be. maybe just a nice brown polo
