Thank you all so much!

This was the day that I finally got my 11th greenie rep and I am so happy!
Joey A was the poster who bumped me up today, and I want to thank him and all my other friends here who have been so nice to me for so long.

When I first posted here, it was to get more info on historical players and the pros. I've been playing pool and gathering info on the great players since I was 11. And I have learned so much from so many of you and believe it when I say that I consider many of you like family now. It's hard to believe how many nice people post here and love sharing items related to pooldom on a daily basis.

I read these forums everyday like others read the newspaper. I'm addicted to AZB in a good kind of way. And what makes this such a special place is all of the enthusiastic people that make up our AZB family.

Sometime back, I remember SJM posted a long list of the types of posters we have here. I was the kind who enjoys keeping stats on the pro players.
But I've also grown to really, really enjoy reading and learning what's going on in many of your lives.

I promise to always try to be as kind, gracious, informative and funny as so many of you already are. I really don't want this to sound corny, but I really do want to thank so many of my friends here. I'm afraid that if I listed all of them, I would bore a lot of you and possibly forget someone, so instead, from my heart, I want to say thank you so much and I deeply appreciate your kindness.

Now, back to the forums....:)

Now, let's tear them down aka cuetaurus-style :D :D
Congrats, I'm not surprised since I find your posts informative and pleasant :p

nice job I on the other hand dont have any of those being an infant poster, but some day I will get banned or something. Seriously this is a very cool site for a wannabe pool player like me

Congrats. I am working on mine too.

I try to post with the same type of values that you listed in your original post. Hopefully I am doing a good job at it. :D

Someday I will come to you and ask a favor. This favor you cannot refuse.

That's it Terry, you have really dug yourself a hole. You should be more careful.

Good job.
What happens after you get 11?
All the girls want to be with you and all the guys want to be like you. At least that's what I've heard.

Great job Terry. You have earned it. Your posts are intelligent, pleasant, and insightful. I always look for a good post by you. I have added a few of those greenies myself lately and I don't just give them up just because. Keep on posting.

A while back, when I got my 11th I took the rest of the day off and celebrated by playing a few holes with my wife. Then I went to the golf course.

Vette,
Since you brought it up, I'll share what happened in my house when JoeyA (thanks again) caused the 11th one to light up.

After PMing JoeyA to thank him :D , I called my wife at work. She was in a meeting and couldn't answer. My son was at work, my daughter was in classes at college and my two step daughters were at grandma's. I called my cousin Mike and told him that I finally got all the greenies for posting.
He said "Great cuz. Where's Lazy Billiards? I never heard of it. How many tables do they got?"

When Brandie came home from work, I was still hyped up so as soon as she pulled in the driveway, I went outside to greet her with this, for me, wonderful news. She said, and I'm quoting, "Oh honey, you've turned into a pool geek." I got the obligatory kiss and off she scampered to start supper. After dinner, I still helped with dishes and took out the garbage.
I was working 11-7 that day, so by time the kids got to sleep, there was no time to play...um...golf (:) ).

Thanks

Thanks everybody who posted on this thread. I really appreciate all my buddies here and got a kick out of reading your comments. Thanks also for making me feel nice about being here.

You're funny Terry. I never even knew what those were or what they meant for the first couple of years. Like gold stars I guess.

It makes up for all the check marks I got on my report card in school. I still have one from the 5th grade that says "talks in class". That's my favorite. :)
