I have not been posting much lately due to health issues. My doctor here has me on an ongoing course of treatments that will last a couple of months.

It all started about a month ago where i was getting weaker and weaker every day. First (my doctor is a young woman) gave me a series of tests and i had severe anemia. It was affecting my kidneys, liver and bladder.

Some of the procedures are very uncomfortable but if i ever want to play pool again i need to do this. My health comes first.

I was reluctant to do this but im reaching out to billiards family for emotional support. Thanks for reading this.

Hi Jay.
You’re in my thoughts hearing about this. I went through a AAA surgery just over a year ago so I get what you’re talking about.

Do what you gotta do to get through everything and you might want to get some pool books you haven’t read yet to pass a little time.

Join us over at the NPR forum more often. They always need new blood and fresh meat there. 😱

Jay best too yah, I'm glad your love is there to assist. My brother just flew out to help.
Been thru as much myself with family members passing on and my recent 4'' Thymoma removal in my r/s lung.
If it wasn't for the mother of my daughters, whom I met in Long Beach in 1978... passing suddenly 4/20 I might of not been as aware.
Any who, we're both on the mend and dealing with the end game of life.
As I say dawg.... heal so we can keep on kickin'.
Haven't played in months myself.... but I've now got more time, and like yourself in repair to get to the end of this game of life.
