Thanks AZB

Melinda, I feel the same way about these wonderful people on the forums as you do. When I suffered the loss of my precious Corgi pictured in my avatar, I received dozens of posts and pm's (which I printed and saved) offering me a shoulder. Most of them were from people I had never heard of. This speaks volumes to the type of people we are blessed to share our thoughts with every day as we scroll through the tremendous amount of information available here. With that I say with conviction...........MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL...AND THANK YOU.

Darth - thank you for sharing! This captures the exact essence of the reason AZB is family for so many people. Merry Chrismtas, Everyone!

Merry Christmas Melinda

Merry Christmas kid. Looking forward to our new season with the straight pool league. Have a Great Day.

I have said before that AZB was family to me and I have to say it again. As I look back over the year, I see how many friends I have gained through AZB. I have had a lot of help and I am very thankful.

Here are just a few examples:

When my visor was broken, many people offered suggestions and even one member (please rep him, SoundWaves) actually fixed it for me! I shipped my poor little visor to him and he shipped it back, fixed!

When my Mom asked me to ask my friends to give blood in her honor when she was in the hospital in the summer for 5 weeks, I came to AZB. People came from everywhere to share they had given blood b/c of her. Even MilwShooter won a raffle and donated the $ to the Humane Society in her honor. She still talks about that and how everyone gave blood b/c of her request.

I have also had some major issues with computer things and several guys have helped me out with solutions (free of charge) but ITGuy (Jim) has been the best! He has helped me so many times over the past year, walking me through via several phone calls how to install a videocard, setting up my router, and just last night setting up something on my new laptop.

Other examples include meeting new friends who have helped me through difficult times (Dar, Super, Jackson) and friends who have helped me enjoy pool even more through various avenues - tournaments, pics, streams, gatherings, etc (Manders, Ashley, Yvette, Ray-BigTruck, Viet My, Trusty, Oldzilla, sde, Lenny, Matt90, Dagwoods, Tina, Melissa, Sunny, Rick S., etc.).

You guys and gals mean the world to me - and I seriously mean it. AZB is very much a family and I appreciate you all.

If your name is not on this post, it's not because I forgot you. There are just so many to thank for a great year! Hu, JoeyA, JimmyLegs, Majic, DaveS, Fatboy, IowaPlayer, JesPedlin, Watchez, Derek, Hilla, Terry, Mrs. G, Sev, Andrea, Lewis Jones and Paul Blank, Cristina, Holly, Fred, Ravi, Marop, Fran, Vette, KoolKat, Spidey, Mark Griffin, Mike and Jerry, the OB Cues Ladies Tour, etc., etc., etc.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays to you, Your pictures from the Mosconi Cup are fantastic!!! I'm sorry I didnt see much of you there, I was busy in the players room 90% of the time and dead tired by the end of the show each day,

Were all going to have a better years next year, 09 wasnt the greatest year of my life and I:'m sure not other peoples either.

Yes Mel AZ is most certainly a family - one with all the crazy relatives who at times squabble - disagree - argue - rant - rave and drive you to drink at times but through it all in the end it's what matters most when one of us need help - advice - guidance or just a shoulder to let it all out on -

And that is where we excell - even beyond our own actual families - ask and ye shall receive - knock and the door will be open - well I have asked and knocked at various times since joining AZ and thanks to many of you I have received some of the most wonderful and much needed advice and have had many doors opened up to me that I never thought possible allowing me to enter a new chapter in my life -

I've had the privilege and joy of meeting a few of you and hope to meet many more during the coming Year - so here's to everyone on AZ for having the most that this coming New Year can offer - lots of love - happiness - patience - trust and the most important of all - health - without which none of the others can be truly appreciated -

Thanks AZ!! -

Jackson

Mel's a sweetheart

A very happy, healthy, and safe Merry Christmas to you and yours, Mel! As other posters have already stated, you're a genuine sweetie!

I hope I kept you laughing both here in AZB as well as in some of the live streams I'd managed to catch, with my silly humor. And I hope to continue to do so in 2010!

I wish the same to all the friendly AZB'ers out there reading this. May the New Year bring health, prosperity, and most of all, good health to one and all!

-Sean

Merry Christmas Mel....it was a pleasure meeting you this year.....thanks for all the great posts, the incredible pics, and everything you bring to AZ....

Melinda, I hope your Christmas was the best, and that your New Year will be even better.

You are one of the greats here on AZB, which is high praise indeed, since there are so many wonderful giving people here.

Working with you on PoolSynergy has been a pleasure, and I wouldn't have met you if it weren't for AZB.

Happy New Year, everyone. I hope it's your best ever!
