I'd like to give a big shout out thanks to Jude Rosenstock and Chris Lynch who were cool beyond belief during my recent visits to Amsterdam Billiards a couple weeks ago!

The highlight of the tour was the friday night a week before Thanksgiving. Jude graciously invited me to their session ending BCA league party and Chris was nice enough to extend the free drinks and free pool time during the party to myself upon Jude's request. I later did my best to repay the favor by trying to get everyone around me as drunk as possible after the party special was over. (That's what we do in Chicago!)

Jumped in a game played with 2 1/4" snooker balls where six players randomly draw a number from 1-6 and all 21 balls are racked together. The rules are tough to spell out real quick, but everyone puts in a buck and you go from there. Best social game ever!

Did I mention that Jude had the hottest girlfriend in the world? Yeah, I wouldn't believe it either. lol

After several hours of that game, whatever it was, Nablo? (sp) a recognized associate of Jude, invited me to play some Scotch Doubles Nine Ball on the VIP table. Nablo had just accidently placed his cue in harms way of a seldom used exterior door, and when the door closed, it squashed and dented his 314-2 predator shaft. He took the shaft off, looked at it a moment, and snapped it over his knee. Gotta say I've never seen that before. lol

So we head over to the VIP table and it's Nablo, some new (and sober) other guy vs us two drunks, me and Tim, (Tim if you're reading this you know who you are.) So we start playing, and sober other guy's girlfriend happens to be no other than Alison Fischer, who many of us know as the very beautiful and cool Inside Pool rep from DCC. I proposed to her, but she turned me down. (I made that up) Anyways, as far as the important pool stuff went, somehow Tim and I hung in there and won a whole $5 each!!!! lol

Well this got long, but it was a hell of a lot of fun. Thanks again to Jude for introducing me to his posse and Chris for being a generous host!

Hows that no smoking thing going Jude? :D

Thanks again!

Jude looks black in that picture and Chris appears to be big ballin! LOL. The only time I met Chris, he was sporting dress code slacks & a button down.

Are you sure who you were partying with? LOL.

No surprise here. Chris and Jude are quality guys who treat people right.

Amsterdam Billiards is a really great place to play. Aside from the wonderful staff like Steve, Daniel, Ben and Jessica the league directors (Danny Barouty, John Leyman, and Chris Lynch) do a top notch job. There are not to many pool rooms with top Pros playing there at a daily basis. Tony Robles, Danny Barouty, Steve Lipsky, 'Ginky' George San Souci, 'Flaco' Tony Rodriguez, Mika Immonen, Thorsten Holman, Liz Ford all can be seen playing at any given day. Danny Barouty gets a special 3 cheers from me because he really cares about your progess and potential as a player. Chris Lynch is also someone who is extremely understanding and gives the best of advise. Also! the League players are just talented, social, and wonderful people to be around. Well! that is my 2 cents worth.
