For running the Fatboy Challenge again this year at the DCC, I'm not 100% sure i can make it there over the past 5 weeks i havent spent more than a few nights in anyone spot. I been living in LA and doing biz in Vegas and my Uncle(last blood relitative) has started to decline up near Stockton so i been driving lots to see him much as possible, i did leave for Germany for 2.5 weeks to see my DR, my back is much better.

Enuff of the personal drama, I justwant to thank Jay for running the event again this year, I had zero to do with it. I just posted the $$ Greg Sullivan from Diamond posted $5,000 as well. Since $10,000 was added we raised the entry to $1,000 that was Greg and I's decision, everything else Jay has done. I hope it all works out for everyone, i'm sure it will-Jay runs a good event every year.


If I can squeeze it in, I might come for the last weekend of the DCC if there is a "Jar" there for me<-------hint hint, you know who you are, Lord that gets expensive....LOL Aint no telling what I might do on the Jar. the Cherry jar.


If I dont come everyone have fun and thanks again Mr.Jay your the best!!!

He is almost 89, he has been like a 2nd dad to me since i was born. hell if I make it to 89 I'm happy. He has angina, but is to frail to stent so when he goes it will be quick and painless, might be today might be a year. we dont know. they cant even put a camera in his heart to see how bad it is-he is too frail. he still drives, plays darts and has a good life. So while I can i'm making the most of it and seeing him often. I bought a Toyota Jetta(I love it) or what ever its called, hell of a car for long trips. if I had time i'd drive it to the Derby.

Things are good otherwise, still aint made a $$$ since may 08 but thats cool were getting closer. gym is going good, pool game is ok. I took my break and now i'm back playing some. i'll be full time soon, i miss it. the time off was good.

I hope I can go to the last weekend of the DCC this year, i'll decide a day before I leave; if I leave.

The "Fatboy Challenge" is gaining in popularity every year. This is our biggest one, with a 1K entry fee and 10K added. First prize - Twelve large!

As the field continues to expand this event will certainly become a MOTT points event and it also wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being THE marquee discipline at the DCC some day, maybe even someday soon. :thumbup:

These rooms can be brutal, good to hear your doctor did some good for you in Germany. Sorry to hear about your uncle, but it happens, we are all getting older. Spend as much time as you can with him.

Mind set, and body in good spirits is always a good thing. We all have our moments...

and yes Mr Jay its gonna be a good one, And I'm trying to rearrange a few things to make out out to the DCC for a couple days this year. Also before you go lets go to dinner one night. your guests called me:wink: I'm buying dinner. I owe you for doing such a great job.
