Can you show a picture of the box?

We ship everyday with UPS, and don't really have too many problems.

We do, however, use the UPS triangle boxes. They are pretty heavy but the biggest thing is that they are really much larger than the shaft needs. That way they have to get bent quite a bit before it can do any harm to the cue shaft. If you pack it in a small tube, or if you pack it tight, the slightest bend in the box or tube will bend or break the shaft. I think that most of the time when a shaft arrives and it's "warped", but the seller says it was straight when it left, it's really just "bent".

The box was a rectangular box that amazon uses. It was bent in two places. I can try to get a picture of it later when I am home.

Yep, Big Brown.....gotta love 'em. Apparently they hate shafts. This was one of two I received with damage within a 2 month timeframe. This was thick-walled cardboard, btw, not the flimsy stuff. It didn't stand a chance. UPS banana treatment

If you care about your cues, I would advise not using UPS. They don't give two farts about the packages they handle. Then afterwards, they try to cornhole you on any claim.

I ship all cues and shafts in a PVC pipe with end caps and then in a shipping tube,

I like USPS. I think the fact that they are a little less automated than UPS and FedEx actually leads to an advantage in handling, more handling by hand. But that's just my guess. I've had almost unbelievable good fortune with the USPS, use them exclusively unless the item is too large, in which case we go FedEx. UPS really kinda sux.

I feel for you bud. I hope this gets settled for you.
